he can't have ANY opiates. That means PERCS. (opiates = oxycodone/percs, hydrocodone/vikes, methadone, codeine, etc...)
and i KNOW this because my BROTHER had issues with it (he was an addict, was on a methadone program for a while) He had a deviated septum fixed in his nose.. so after the surgery he wasnt allowed ANY controlled substanced for pain relief... aka opiates/opiods.
They had to give him some random pain relievers that hardly did ANYTHING. He was miserable for a month.
Long story short, anyone who is an ex-addict (medically documented of course) can not receive any type of narcotic. period. Doesn't matter if you have a "sponsor" or not.
