There isn't an album I've liked more than Recovery since then.

I think mainstream rap was pretty awful from like 2004-2008. Some gems here n there but mostly blah. But one album which um... I wouldn't like to say how I compare it to Recovery as I find it hard, they're so different. But Kanye's Graduation.

It's my fave Kanye album and I think a classic one. Em and Kanye I think kind of parallel each other too. IN terms of, the way their first three albums all build on each other like a progressive climb, then peak.

Everyones naming Mainstream albums but there are so many underground albums better then Recovery. Both of RA's are two of them.

That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide

my fav albums since 07 are

1 Recovery
2 Paper Trail
3 M.O.T.M
4 Relapse
5 Adventures Of Bobby Ray
6 Carter III
7 Ultimate Victory
8 T.I Vs T.I.P
9 American Gangster
10 So Far Gone EP

I'd have Paper Trail, C3, TI vs TIP, and Relapse in my top 10 as well

Both of you need to expand and listen to some real hip hop.
For me, not many albums is better then Recovery (since 07), but I can name a few.

Brawdcast - The Quest For Human Completion
Atmosphere - When Life Gives You Lemons You Paint That Shit Gold
Rhyme Asylum - State Of Lunacy
Rhyme Asylum - Solitary Confinement
Reakwon - Only Build 4 Cuban Linx part 2

Probably a couple more, but theese are definitly among my favortes of the given era.
To anyone who haven't heard Rhyme Asylum or Brawdcast: CHECK THAT SHIT OUT!
Atmosphere's album is also fantastic, the most chill album i have ever had the pleasure of listening to (atleast a hundred times).

Well, I don't care really what you're like on the inside and I just really want you to come to bed with me. Would you do that if you could? Even if you were just average on the outside (but not fat) I could like you if you sounded smart.
