He actually has the NY shows after the VMAs (Sept. 13/14). He'll be exhausted from all the appearances, but they'll get him warmed up for that upcoming tour.

As for him sitting in the audience, I wouldn't count on it. He didn't do that at last year's VMAs, MTV Movie Awards, AMAs, Grammys, or BET Awards.

Considering the Bruno thing was scripted, he was obviously only sitting there for that reason. I didn't see a glimpse of him other than that, and when he was performing.
