Eminem is in demand. I wonder how much Interscope will push/pressure him for another album now.
While I don't wish they pressure him for another album, I do hope they fully support and encourage him to get a solo album out "soon". It seems like he was on a roll recording tracks for Recovery, so I wouldn't be surprised if he can continue that roll.
The one thing I would think could slow him down is subject matter. Someone on this forum said it best - Relapse and Recovery both dealt with his addiction, rehab and sobriety... just from two very different perspectives. I think he pretty much covered that subject. So, I would think he wants to cook something completely different up - the question is 'what'.
Making new tracks is one thing, but making an album is completely different. Unfortunately, many artists will release albums which are no more than a collection of tracks, but the real musicians out there release albums held together with themes, moods, sounds, etc. What issue or theme can Em now tackle in 16 or so tracks? Makes me wonder where he will go - I'm hoping he gets super creative with this next one... I'm sure he will stay at least borderline mainstream, but if Kanye was able to make an extremely abstract / creative album successful, I'm sure Em can too.
