That guy was a comedian. Can't really compare them. I hope Em makes five more great albums. But I doubt it. I can't even think of a rapper that made eight good albums. Not saying there aren't any, but if there is they are few and far in between.

I agree,
I think the next album should just be joke records, great rap collaborations, and interesting concepts.
I still loved Recovery though.

I think now, when he's 38 and his daughter 15 is the right time for him to start writing songs about raping/killing/burying her, because she slept/kissed/listen to Christopher Reeves/Justin Bieber/anyone from D12. You know, some kind of "Kim", but the main twist will be "you little bitch, i'ma take your virginity now".

There will be a hell of a controversy around this. :flutter:
Nope. :shakehead:

I thinks it's time for an album with more features with everybody from Jay-Z and Nas to Rihanna and idk random-fast-selling-pop-artist.

And please, no more 8 mile. That will be stupid as fuck and will ruin his carrier for another 8 years and then try to make an incredible comeback at 60 :coffee:

When in doubt he could always do the jokey shit. I think on his next album he should do some collaborations like with T.I., Kanye West, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Drake, Royce, D12, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, etc. I would like to see some all star collaborations because collabs always bring out the best in him. I personally would like to see an album where he lashes out at every one like TMMLP but, I'm pretty sure he doesn't want the drama that brings.

Yeah well I didn't want him to come back personal anyway.

I love the Recovery style(s) but I want him to just stfu about his personal issues now. He's done everything to death but I'm glad he said all that on Recovery because if he re-visits any of that shit now it'll just look like he's out of things to say.

It's time he starts coming up with new concepts and creating to his full potential again. Start letting his mind run loose like B.o.B does and stop worrying so much what his fans think.

I'd like to see the end of this, not becuase I hated it, but becuase, similarly with how he ended the Relapse/serial killing era at the right time - I enjoyed his stuff then but he chose the right time to stop it - enough to keep me entertained but not too much to bore me.

I'd say the 'Recovery' theme started with Forever, up until the release of Recovery and I think all loose ends have been tied and there's nothing really more to say. We get that he's back, we get that he didnt like his last 2 CD's, we get he's fully recovered from drugs and into the rap game. We get that he doesnt like da haters.

Anything he says on the topic now will be pretty boring, as there's nothing more he can really say.

I think the same can be said about personal issues. I think the last verse of Going Through Changes pretty much draw his personal life from 2004 to 2010 to a close. It was a perfect way to end it, and that's enough.

Unless something major happens in his personal life, anything he says from now on, about his addiction or his family will be boring, to be honest, if it's delivered in a serious way.

Dunno where he can go from here on his next CD, in terms of content, but I'm pretty certain he WILL try something different. His next album is MAJOR becuase we can really see what he has to say, when everything in his life seems settled.

Thoughts?

Reminds me of what he said, "I need drama in my life. Without them, my music will suck". Yeah, he'll find something more to talk about cuz he jnows that some of his stories are getting old.

I agree,

A little offtopic but, to me as good of a song Going Through Changes is, it's an overkill. In my opinion he had everything covered in Deja Vu, but since people complained about the lack of emotion of Relapse he did that song.

Going Through Changes = Deja Vu + whining + moaning

I kinda want his next album to sound like No Apologies and The Way I Am attacking his haters. I kinda want a dark album but without serial killer shit. Either that or I would like an album with a mix of Eminem styles. Say like a couple jokey songs, a couple serious songs, a couple emotional songs, a couple of ganster songs, 1 or 2 serial killer songs, and maybe 1 or 2 club bangers. That would be sick to see all his styles on one album. :flutter:

i agree to a certain extent.
for me the next thing he would and should is drop a more lyrical and pure hip hop album, the context could be anything like his position in the current rap game, how is it still managing to stay up etc etc.

good point.

overall I agree too. it seemed back in the day anything he would release would seem "new", while now he seems to be more about rehashing similar styles, concepts, voices, themes, etc, so I also hope he is done with this "era" :y:
