No Joy Division , Justin Timberlake @ 66 - ranked ahead of Eminem, Coldplay ahead of 2pac , Mary J Blige @ 80
Awful ist, Wu Tang Clan should be there too, plus the lack of British artists is a disgrace

Edit: Beyonce at number 52 - fuck sake this gets worse the more I look at it - Em done well to even make the list
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide

I agree with Emady. Elvis should be lower. Dude didn't even write his own songs, wtfz.
Caution to the wind, complete freedom. Look at these rappers, how I treat 'em, so why the fuck would I join 'em when I beat 'em?

If this had been done in 2003 Eminem would've been in the Top 20. The period between TES and Relapse killed his mainstream reputation in addition to his underground cred.

I can handle 2Pac being above him, even though I don't agree with it.

But fucking Jay-Z? Gimie a break. What album has he done that even compares to the genius of The Marshall Mathers LP. Or the creativity of The Slim Shady LP. Or the perfection of The Eminem Show. None of his albums compare to Em's first three.

Also where's his monumental artistic creations. I mean "99 Problems"? Seriously... "Hard Knock Life" vs. fucking "Stan". Yeah, "I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one", makes sense. Honestly man, even music critics buy into who's been around a little bit longer or who they 'think' should be on it or above others. Eminem >>>>> Jay, x 1,000.

Kanye West is a better artist than Eminem too. He may not be as great an MC but since they're talking artists, having Kanye on there instead of him would of made more sense. Even though people will probably quote and laugh at this just because Kanye ain't been around as long. But wtf is Jay doing to push the boundaries like he has / continues do... Nada.

Nah he wouldn't have. As he would of been around just four years in that time.

And these stupid lists buy into longevity as a sign of a greatness, which it can be, but it doesn't define greatness and somebody can be the greatest artist the world has ever seen in a year, not 10 or 20. He would of been way too new to be included then. IN their eyes.

^ Yeah but just being around a long-time doesn't = great.

It CAN be a sign of greatness but his material isn't the best so he's not the greatest just because he's still signed to a label putting out records.

LL Cool J has over twenty years longevity and he's below Em. So obviously they ain't just looking at that.

Also -                              @ Jay being greater than fucking OutKast.

Who's arguing with this? I'm the only person to mention Mary J Blige in this thread so I assume this comment is directed at me - I laughed at Mary actually being on the list, not that Coldplay are ahead of her, but Coldplay ahead of 2pac? Thats a joke

Justin Timberlake being almost 30 places ahead of Outkast is way more ridiculous than Jay-Z being ranked over them
