I just listened to the song for the first time and it made me laugh real hard :laughing:

Em always surprise us... (not a very pleasant surprise this time). This is like... the most commercial song in his career. Half of the song was Rihanna singing, such a long ass chorus... I have to listen to it few more times to form opinion on Em's verses.

Woooow fuck this song man. At least with Berzerk, Rap God and (to an extent), Survival, Em tried something new. This is just derivative, generic bullshit. For me, Berzerk is a 10, cause I fucking love Beastie Boys and old school rap, Rap God is an 8 cause his flow is awesome but the beat blows, and Survival is a 9, cause it's aggressive and energetic and beat is pretty good. Whereas The Monster is like a 4, cause Em's verses are good, but every single other thing about it sucks. I hope someone can get the acapella of this, and put Em's verses over a beat that isn't wack.

Mr Change....my response to Rap God was the same since day 1. It's a good song, a solid/decent track overrated by stans.

The beat dropped it down from a potential 8-9 song to a 7 for me. Had some whack lines but the dope shit far out weighs the bad shit. Still....overrated by stans but still pretty good.
