I read somewhere that the they had to put out he video before the month ends,thats why they had to rush it. But usually music videos take the similar time to make. Editing a 10 min video to 5 min by professionals is a matter of hours,sometime just minutes. They cud have premiered Not Afraid way before but it was delayed due to a fixed date proposed by the recording label and the production company.I mean its not like they are shooting a Gaga Telephone/Videophone video.

On Location also speculated that the "injury of some kind" on Fox's elbow "is probably fake and for her character" and that, in addition to the scene on top of the liquor store, Fox and Monaghan also filmed inside the store and at "a seedy dive bar next door."
