I feel like...theres a pretty good possibility the pistons wanted em to make an "anthem" or something for their team. he mentions a lot of pistons players and is talkin about basketball for pretty much the first time in any song ....idk i might just be babbling but this was the first thought that came into my head when i heard this. kinda similar to lil wayne's kobe bryant type song. (dont bash me for comparing the two...not comparing the quality of the songs just the content is similar)
