There's a huge difference between lip syncing and using a backing track. It makes no sense for any rapper to lip sync

I always loved the way they transition from Till I Collapse to Cinderella Man. Because of the similar beats, it just works so well. To see a whole sea of hands clapping to it is just amazing.

Jay-Z sucks at performing, are you fucking serious? He`s so simple just like new Em,I cant tell who`s worse. :facepalm

Jay-Z clearly does not suck at performing. For anyone who's been to his shows from when he first came into hip hip to now, it's obvious that he's improved more than any other artist in the world. His shows, with the aid of Live Nation are probably the best in the world. And I'm pretty sure he was voted as such by Pitchfork last year.

Eminem is a good performer too, nothing like what he was before, but the big difference between them is the quality of their shows, Hov's extras ingredients are high quality show material.

Em did steal the Home and Home Tour show in NY though, but in all honesty that was mostly due to bringing Dre and 50 with him.

There is no way you're black you lying fuck. Just look at the crowds at an EMinem concert. It's like 90percent white all the time. Unless Jay is there for a NY show.

In this day and age, do I really have to prove to people I'm black now? I was always told that I had to act a little more white but never did in school, is this my opportunity?

Hi PetaParker. My name is Chrys. I'm 22 and was born in Richmond Hill in Queens and lived in Queens my entire life. You know Queens right, some 15 miles away from the birthplace of hip hop.

I'd ask for your details too, but I think we all know everything we need to know about you. I mean, you're crying over some dude not performing certain songs at a concert you're not even at and speaking on behalf of the entire African American community. Ehh....awkward.

Scust at you spelling Chrys with a "Y"

Your parents must've been prepared to have a b1tch :coffee:

I spit truth, some of you are just d1ckriders. Eminem clearly needs help with his set list.

I don't see the obsession with that song either. I don't think it's that great. I was surprised that it got a video and was considered a single (even though it wasn't officially released). I also don't understand all the hate on Won't Back Down, especially for live performances - the beat is up-tempo, the hook has a rock feel to it, it's got the drums that are like punctuation. Space Bound is a mid-tempo, half-ass love song.

Is it just me or does he sound like he's slightly choked-up on 'Toy Soldiers' like he's almost trying to control a lump in his throat?

I know he's intentionally gruffing his voice as always now but, just sounds kinda like that too. On the second "we miss you" it hinted at that to me.

Lost a good friend myself and I can imagine doing that and, certain things can randomly make you choke up even after years.

Also, Em looked a lot better performing "Till I Collapse".

Especially on one part near the beginning where he's rocking out like bobbing hard like he used to with like "The Way I Am". Really losing himself in the performance again and, loosening up. Definitely improving.

Man also, just watching "The Way I Am" performance now. Firstly, that voice he's doing on it is interesting... as, it doesn't sound the same as his recent sort of constant growl OR the actual 'way I am' voice as in, natural anger.

Sounds more of a sort of softer to seething voice. And, on the "SMILE IN THE COURTROOM" part, sounds genuinely enraged. He's really loving these live performances now I think.
