TM is as brilliant as LTWYL( which is also hated by internet "hip-hop purists" who wouldn't know Sean Price if he stole their lunch money) in the sense that it continues with the whole taking dead serious real life issues (domestic abuse/drug addiction/going back to the faggot that abused you/fame, which is prolly the most insidious of them all) giving them the pop treatment and watching niccas dance along, meanwhile, in y'all minds, Royals is some deep, articulate, genius social commentary type shit about real life problems and Same Love is on some Kubrick/Kafka-esque, visionary type shit.
