I also buy the clean versions. But, I'm disappointed that Em went back to his slim shady character and he is re using again this serial killer theme, inciting to violence etc. This is not my cup of tea really. I think Em gained so much respect with his new Recovery attitude, cause being mature and romantic dont mean to be soft. It's sad that Em only has yes men in his team and nobody tells him that he needs to continue to innovate to keep smashing, not repeating the same old formulas over and over again.
I think Em needs to get closer with God. Only God will give him that peace and the fulfillment he wants. He doesn't look like he is happy. I fear that Die alone is another depressive song attacking his mom or Kim for feeling alone. I hope I'm wrong, but he has million of fans, he is not alone, but he is still having those suicidal thoughts, I'm worry about him to be honest. He is super talented, but he needs to be himself.

OMG :o :o

It's not me. It's so sad though.

you say all that as if you know em. You take an intro psych course or something?
Predominantly, predominantly, everything's always predominantly
Predominantly white, predominantly black
Well what about me? where does that leave me
Well I guess that Im between predominantly both of em
I think if I hear that fuckin word again Imma scream
While I'm projectile vomiting, what do I look like, a comedian to you?
Do you think that I'm kidding?
What do I look like some kind of idi- wait a minute, shit, don't answer that..

Tracklist got me really hyped for this. Really surprised at how much Em is on there.

2nd disc isn't interesting to me at all, except for the Lose Yourself demo...which is smart on the label's part. I assume the whole thing about putting that on there was someone like Paul's idea. They know people aren't going to give a shit about the 2nd disc because we've heard all those songs before. So it's smart for them to put the demo in that position.

I'm also glad the 2nd disc isn't plastered with LTWYL, Monster, Not Afraid etc.

Overall, I'm hyped!

We're gonna rock this house until we knock it down
So turn the volume loud, cause it's mayhem 'til the a.m.
So baby make just like K-Fed and let yourself go, let yourself go
Say fuck it before we kick the bucket

From a promotion standpoint, it probably would've been smarter had they add at least one of those. They know how popular those were/are.

its not an eminem greatest hits, but shady records, its sole purpose is to promo the other shitty and less popular rappers. they did a damn good job on the tracklist tbh :y:

it doesn't feel like shady records is very close knit. they just kinda share the same label name. that's sad to me because i remember it started to get that family vibe at one point around the re-up but that never really bloomed. :-k

They probably want it to do well sales wise/force the stans to actually check the whole thing out instead of just buying the Eminem records. Gives Yela/SH/D12 more exposure while all but guarantying it won't flop by putting Em on 10 of 12 of the songs.... it's a win-win for everybody really.
I'm tryna clean up my fuckin' image so I promised the fuckin' critics
I wouldn't say fuckin' for six minutes (Six minutes, Slim Shady, you're on)
My baby's mom, bitch made me an angry blonde
So I made me a song, killed her and put Hailie on

They're also guaranteeing decent numbers by making the thing a double album.

Don't read too much into that tweet. It's probably only because today is Devil's Night.

I think you guys are right, this album should have been released for Halloween, not that I'm saying that because I wanted it sooner but the cover and song titles fit perfectly.

Unless they got Bizarre talking about food and fast food restaurants all over the album, then this is definitely some thanksgiving shit.

I guess they figured it would sell great with Black Friday right around the corner.
