Yes, but it's like if you're writing a story, (because Deja Vu is a story) if your best describing words are asinine, weird, great, bouncy, ect, then how well is that story going to paint a picture in the readers heads? It doesn't have anything to do with trying to sound smart and using big words, it's just a matter of getting your job done as a writer, and Deja Vu does not do that.
