I saw people praising the Amy line on SL and I honestly think it's bullshit. If eminem or Yela said that line I swear on my fucking dick that everyone would say " " dat line is dumb as fuck doe.

Budden still had the best verse though, but not by far.

Well, he has a great verse. And I only listened to the whole thing twice so it may change, but I think Crooked Yela and Joell were good, nothing more nothing less, Royce was really funny "I beat my wife too" and Joe well he threw some shots here and there and he really had a good verse. I liked it a lot.

But Eminem's verse was different. I can feel he wants to bring the controversy, the old shady state of mind back and tbh he accomplished it kinda well in this. He had some really funny lines but hey, he's Eminem. It's impossible for him to make something now without being harrassed by dumb hip hop heads.

Like I already said.. If Eminem released Kim now, everyone would hate on it saying the screaming is awful and he barely rhymes.

I'm not saying this is great material, it's far from being like 99-2002 shady but still. It is NOT bad.

I'm not sure where on Earth you get this idea from, but it's obviously nonsense. It's just hypothetical bullshit. Do you know why people complain about his recent screaming? Because it sounds bad. On 'Kim' it sounded incredible.

And if anyone did, it would be people who don't like it anyway, as they have no concept of what lyricism is.

And when are we going to stop this endless "this shit reminded me of Shady again!!!! " for any song that's even slightly comedic or has any sort of 'shock value' - none of you have a clue what Shady even is. I don't really know. Eminem doesn't even know. It's just a name he used early on. It's all Eminem.


Anyway, listening again, I was probably slightly harsh on Em. It's pretty enjoyable to listen to, until about half way in. It's funny how he always seems to up his game on radio freestyles/cyphers of late (see: Westwood 2010).

And I didn't even talk about the screaming, so you got that idea out from your ass man. I know that the screaming right now is 100% different than it was, I just said Kim because it's a masterpiece and I'm sure even hip hop heads hated on Kim back then, and now they're like wow it's a masterpiece.

There was a link posted in the HHD, an old forum where hip hop heads were basically anti-Eminem, saying he's just a one hit wonder and that the MMLP is an average album and shit. I'm just bringing the fact that whenever Eminem puts something out, whether it's now or before, hip hop heads aren't happy with him. I mean it's not something new. Look at these people saying Eminem is finished and shit on SL.

And when people says it reminds me of Shady, they think the shady zany state of mind. The craziness, the madness etc..

They only failed at the comedy part... everything else was nearly perfect.
I'd personally prefer to hear 'em on a dark beat rather than this one but it is what it is. If they were not as relaxed as they were 'cuz of the beat which made 'em have little pauses here and there I'd give 'em 10 outta 10. There was bragging, OG's prasin', sucka punches and what not, and noone tripped lyrically... HIP HOP!
