Same shit as Love the way you Lie...All good hooks. It's called a "hook" because it's what's suppose to hook you into the song, catchy, simple. Writer doesn't only mean lyrics. It's the melody and rhythm as well. She writes MUSIC, good sounding hooks, someone else just needs to sing them. So like I said originally that you face-palmed, she's a good writer.

Writing is not the same as melody an rhythm. There are writers who do nothing but write and someone else arranges the vocals and melody with the producer. I am referring to Skylar's hook lyrics only. They imo are not good writing/lyrics/words (whichever you want to use), granted most songs don't allow enough room to flesh them out. I don't care if it's a rap hook or a singing hook, I'm not differentiating. There are some who's words I like and some I don't. LTWYL wasn't written in the form of a hook either. They were both taken from a full song and used as hooks. I prefer one over the other. I face-palmed because I find her lyrics in those songs cheesy it had nothing against you liking them. Just a difference of opinion.

Idk why you would want an alt version? Different beat? The guitars are sick and its a great hype song. Different lyrics? Then why have it at all? I think people are just trying to justify wishful thinking here
