I know that the screaming right now is 100% different than it was, I just said Kim because it's a masterpiece and I'm sure even hip hop heads hated on Kim back then, and now they're like wow it's a masterpiece.

And that was my point. If 'Kim' it came out today in this weird hyothetical world, the people that would complain are the same people who hate on it anyway, as they have no clue as to what makes great lyricism. The people who love 'Kim' now, would still love it if it was released today.

when the rhyming is great for what it is, he rhymes 3 syllables at time. The hook just gives emotion to the song. The screaming too.. I'm not really clear.

But im sorry the top three to me was Em, Crooked then Royce. Joell was funny as heck though. Its all about a matter of preference.

If they were not as relaxed as they were 'cuz of the beat which made 'em have little pauses here and there I'd give 'em 10 outta 10.

Is that why they all kept pausing? That annoyed the shit out of me. It was like they'd all get really god flows and rhythm going...and then they'd pause for a second and kill it. Em had like a three second pause after the "will he be mourned" thing that I think might've been intentional, but it bothered me the most.


I think Em was my favorite. Wasn't too crazy about some of the lines in the second half, but overall his verse was absolutely sick. Joe Budden was awesome, and then I think Crooked I was third best.
