Man, some of you guys really are ignorant about this song. All this time waiting for new music and when it finally comes all you do is complain and criticize. Take the song for what it is and enjoy it.

I'm not even gonna stress about the direction the album will take based upon this one song. Em knows exactly what he's doing and he does not give a shit about what some random nerds on a fan site think about his music. "I'm doin this for me, so fuck the world."

It's nothing like 2000-2003 Eminem and those of you who wanna judge Em that way, its understandable. But keep in mind that artists change and mature over time. Look at Snoop Dogg. When you've been in the game for as long as an Eminem or Snoop Dogg it gets to the point where you just are making music because its what they do.

Em is a genius. He knows exactly what he's doing to create album buzz and sales. From putting Rihanna and Wayne on Recovery to even Bruno Mars on Lighters, dude knows what's up. Y'all are entitled to your opinions but if its not intelligent or relevant to the thread save it.

I don't get it because he was doing it on his own at the G-Shock event, so I don't get it all.

No. Listen to the video again. There's the backing track but he's way louder than it so you can hear him.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrsRGjVLmiA He wasn't playback, I was close and could notice how dope he was. Seriously, he killed it. The Way I Am was so amazing!

By the way, people who were there, did you see Joell on the left when Kendrick was performing?

The backing track was too loud but his voice overpowered it.

He's getting bad (and some good) reviews because of the backing tracks during the hooks lol. Every rapper does that.

You're right... Although I think he shouldn't use the backing music so loud for sure.

I checked the whole concert and it was absolutely amazing, y'll must have been having fun, I'm glad for you. :y:

By the way, after the Lose Yourself performance, he said: Thank you guys and I'll be back soon, I promise. :worship:

The album is really coming. :worship:

Yeah man, that guy who said Eminem used playback during 75% of the show is wrong. You could actually hear him rap on the mic and it was very easy to differentiate his voice from the backing vocals, when there were some.

Idk if you can see this but if you can, you'll notice it wasn't playback.

True.

Also about the backing track, I didn't know before, but I actually enjoy it more than when somebody raps a song all chopped up. Yesterday, Kendrick for example, did a great job but M.A.A.D City live kinda dissapointed me. He wasn't able to hold the same sick flow he has in the studio version of the song, I believe you don't have that problem when you use a backing track like Em.

What was there? I don't have a FB account, so I can't see it.

By the way, You're right, he's using playback only for hooks but sometimes the loud backing music made me confused.

It was a really awesome concert though. :worship: I'm glad that you guys could be there. :y:
