Right now, there are rappers better than Em - Nas, Black Thought, Hopsin and a few underground rappers.

But prime-time Eminem is untouchable.

Its all about opinions who is better than who its just when you get people who say a wack artist is better than a good artists. Like saying who do you think is better than Eminem? There is a list of artists who are normally in people's top 10 list and each one you can argue they are the best of all time. E.g. the likes of Jay-Z, Biggie, Tupac, Rakim, Andre 3000, Nas Etc. Im not saying they are the best its just people argue they are.

But personally I think Nas is close to Eminem but I think Em is just abit better. I dont listen to a lot of underground hip-hop like a lot of you on here do so I dont know about yours answers. Its just when people say artists like Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, Soulja Boy are the best when its laughable.

Those three, by far, are ahead of Eminem. Big L and 2Pac are in classes of their own (easily top two greatest ever). Biggie is right behind them.

If Eminem stuck with his SSLP/MMLP/TES style, I have no doubt in my mind he'd be the GOAT. But, he didn't. Encore was a joke, and Relapse was trash.

But the icing on the cake (#1 reason why Eminem is NOT the GOAT) is the Recovery era. He sold out and turned his back on everything that he stood for when he came up by doing all these commercial/radio-friendly/teenage girl songs with Rihanna and Nikki Minaj. Pac and L always kept it real, and wouldn't ever dream of doing that shit. Why does Eminem get a free pass? GTFO.

Copywrite, Hopsin, Diabolic. I don't listen to any underground rap, to be honest, but those are three rappers who are better emcees than Eminem right now.

He's the best rapper to ever do punches so why take them out, that makes him who he is. It's not like he did songs with fuckin Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Pussycat Dolls or that douche who sings, "Whatchya Say". The artists he's done shit with are big artists (at this time) and it's hardly selling out. And really...he made one 'teenage girl' song, and it's subject matter isn't anywhere fuckin close to being teenage girl material...

The only reason why Pac and L didn't do any of that shit was cuz they didn't live long enough

LTWYL is the most lyrical song on the album & Rihanna is an important part of the song concept, the song is about a fucked-up topic but because it blew up on radio & lots of people like it now it's a teenage song
And did you even hear the song with nicki? how can anyone call that song anywhere near pop? call it horrible w/e, but the clear thing is it's not "commercial/radio-friendly/teenage girl song"
