i thought the story was amazing. i could picture it in my head. and i loved the dark vibe.

I knew him since Without me but I wasn't very interested by his music.
So when Encore came out with Just Lose It, i started to listen to him. And I'm glad Encore was the first album i bought you know why? Cuz I listened to his worst album and still liked it. (Except My 1st single, Big weenie, and ass like that. But my first single is just fucking awfully awful, I hate it so much, that beat makes me wanna fucking PUKE) then i went back and listened to SSLP MMLP and Eminem Show which were just ART.

I was 11 when the Eminem Show came out...I had known about em from my name is and the real slim shady but never got really interested in him. Then I bought the Eminem Show and was absolutely astonished with what i was listening too. I though some songs were hilarious. I remember wanted to hear each and every lyric of every song. My dad even liked the album (he was 40 at the time) and we listened to it in the car all the time. This got me hooked and I was hooked on eminem all the way through the re-up. I literally downloaded every single song I could possibly find by him. My interest wore off when he went away like after Touchdown with TI. Even when he came back with relapse I was really excited, then really disapointed when I heard the album. Now with recovery, when that came out I felt like I was 11 listening to the Eminem Show again. I'm hooked again and find myself checking this forum daily for new material.

Without Me in 2007

The actual first Eminem song I ever heard was Stimulate. My friend let me borrow the bonus disk or whatever it is for the 8 Mile soundtrack back when 8 Mile was new, and I liked the song a lot. It was about the only hip hop song at the time that I liked

But in 2007, I heard Without Me on the radio in my friends car, and I asked who it was and he told me Eminem. So, I went home that night and downloaded The Eminem Show. I've been a fan ever since

Well obviously when he came out i was only like, 8 or 9 so i was too young to really be a "fan" of any musician. MMLP was pretty big even over in my tiny UK town, i got played it several times lol, the ones i remember hearing are Under the Influence and Kill You, and i think i remember bits of I'm Back. But obviously i was too young for it to penetrate. Obviously we all knew Real Slim Shady but i still wasn't really a fan.

Over the years i kinda went through life till i was like 13. I found a mate in high school who we one day spoke about Eminem, i was like i like a couple of his songs but i havent heard much, and he lent me all 3 of his main albums. I went home and listened to them, and from then on i was a fan.

The first time I ever heard an eminem song was maybe...2002... "without me" a class mate was singin it... I was 11. Didn't care nothin'.

I heard "superman" also a little time after, though it was curious but as a brazilian didn't understood very well.

Then came "like toy soldiers".... around 2004 I used to record song on radio with tapes.... got "mocking bird" also. "Without me" came after, then I just realized it was the song my class mate was singing. I don't put just one song as makin me a fan... but that one blackened was very important.

Started to download mp3 in 2005.... got some snoop dogg shtio like a fake version of nuttin but a G thang and still d.r.e.

Also got D12's purple hills (which I heard on gym some months earlier) and got addicted to it before knowin Eminem was on it.

Then got with Twister (a whack mp3 downloader) "we as americans".. Really got stuck on my head because of its overall feelin on the beat and singin. So I started to get Em shit (recognizin some old songs that I used to hear on radio) ad became a fan.

2005 was just amazin when it came to discover of Eminem. I can easily remeber the feelin hearin "Amityville", got scared as fuck hearin "kim", and plenty of others. Ddidn't care about albums, was just gettin ramdom songs until I get around 50 of them right before christmas, when I got a CD player that supported MP3 and started to hear him and others songs all day all night.

2006 was a year of great dicover also, most pof Em's shit was discovered that year... Bangin "my dad's gone crazy" wild as fuck late night was one of the best memories. Gettin chilled with 'Quitter", "sing for the moment", hatin at the first hearin of 'infinite' because of the whack beat, gettin "hellbound" and becomin a member of a lyrics site october 2005.... Too much shit to tell....

I always liked his songs, but Cleanin' Out My Closet was THAT song for me. I loved it. It's one of those songs you can play every day and still not getting sick of hearing it.

Cleanin' Out My Closet.. since watching the video on music stations around 2007 maybe? quite late but I'd never really listened to much of his music before I dunno what it was but it just got me interested in him haha
