How can hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever?

Bieber, Gaga, Rhianna (whos the definition of a sellout because she was decent a few years ago then she watered down her music), and without a doubt the Jonas Brothers. He would definitely not diss himself however. He didn't diss rappers for a poppy sound, he dissed pop singers for corny repetitive lyrics.

He'd diss any pop star that doesn't write their own lyrics, can't sing or dance.

Excluding the old popstars who apply to the above, the one that stands out is RIhanna. The likes of Kesha and Katy Perry are still too irrelevant to hit Em's radar.

If Em was going to diss Wayne, he would've done it early 2000's when they were both active. So that shows, despite all your 'IMO', he wouldn't.

The only time he was going to was when Wayne had the biggest album of the year, and he was popping pills in a studio somewhere crying.

So for the last time.. EMINEM thinks WAYNE is DOPE NOW. He NEVER thought WAYNE was WACK, he was just JEALOUS. If EMINEM would've had a problem with WAYNE back in the good 'ol days he would've said something. END OF.
My Top 5 (in no order)-

Eminem
Big l
Biggie Smalls
Royce Da 5'9"
Jigga

Why would Em diss Wayne in the early 00s?

Wayne was unheard of in the early 00's. He was just another creepy little rapper from the South at time. Hell I've been listening to hip hop down here in NY for almost all my life, and even we didn't really notice or start paying attention to Wayne until around 2005-2006, actually, we still don't really pay attention to him, but now at least we know he exists.

When Wayne also had "the biggest album of the year" Eminem was slowly off drugs, so no, he wasn't popping pills and crying.

If you fit the dotted lines, when Em said that Wayne became dope all of the sudden, he's pretty much saying he thought he was wack, that's why he seemed so surprised.

What.. He was well known to Hip Hop fans.. Everyone knew the Hot Boys, etc..

Carter's debut solo album Tha Block Is Hot at age 17 featured significant contributions from the Hot Boys and was certified platinum, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard album charts. The album earned him a 1999 Source magazine award nomination for "Best New Artist"

If XXL Freshman would've been around, he would've been a leading contender. Right around the time Em was coming out.

LMAO @ 'We'.. Who? The Stans alliance? He is one of the most respected artists in the game. He only gets hate on forums, and half of the people on forums, i've learnt, are the kind of people I wouldn't see in daylight in real life.

Fair does, he might've been getting clean for Tha Carter III, but in Christmas 2005, when Wayne released his best album to date, he would've been dosing up.

Between the dotted lines? How can people say 'He signed Stat Quo, Bobby Creekwater and Cashis because he was fucked on drugs' then take what his opinion of Wayne would've been seriously?

Does him getting sober and working with Wayne not tell you that drugs fucked with his perception of 'Dope'?

Just says it all, doesn't it, the same guy wearing the same type of shirt now looking like a whiny little fuck standing next to one of the biggest untalented whores in the music business, selling himself to an audience he once despised for enjoying what he himself called "sissy music." It sickens me.

It's lucky he still puts out decent stuff most of the time.
