Menzo wrote: Word. I think it's obvious why he was more energetic in those 2009 interviews...it was all new again. New questions, new interviewers, new scenarios and basically a new era for Eminem. I can't blame him for being bored in interviews now, because I remember last year around this time and near Recovery's release and a little after, every interview had the exact same questions and it was just soooooo fuckin redundant.
:y:
The Way I Am
The same fuckin questions (fuckin questions)..
What school did I go to, what hood I grew up in
The why, the who what when, the where, and the how
'til I'm grabbin my hair and I'm tearin it out
I mean, they did the same joke on the German show - 3 times! How many times can you say fuck in german

If you asking about the hair and the change of hair color- he said the people at Interscope "encouraged" him to look more mature. Like they asked "how long are you gonna keep wearing sweatpants?"

"Niqqa you's a window shopper
Mad at me, I think I know why
Niqqa you's a window shopper
In the jewelery store, looking at shit you can't buy
Niqqa you's a window shopper
In the dealership, trying to get a test drive
Niqqa you's a window shopper
Mad as fuck when you see me ride by"

I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Another point is.....

Look at how quickly he changed Music Content and style? If he was really working on Relapse 2 then the songs would have sounded nothing like the ones we got on Recovery! He either planned to pretend there was a Relapse 2 or he recorded Recovery veryyyy quickly :)

This actually makes a lot of sense
There's people that love me and people that hate me. But it's the evil that made me this backstabbing, deceitful, and shady.
