It goes:

1. D12
2. 50 Cent
3. 2Pac
4. Proof (RIP)
5. Dr. Dre

Honorable mentions: Yelawolf & Obie Trice.

Eminem would be my number #10 pick.

Justify or gtfo.

He doesn't need to justify anything, he's the cool guy, with a superior taste in music who never posts anything longer than 2 sentences

He sure is!

list goes like this

1. Eminem - You know why...
2. Obie Trice (the reason why is because i could listen to him all day long, i think he has real talent)
3. Hollywood Undead (even though they aren't specifically rap, i think they are really good when they start rapping in their songs )
4. Lil Wayne (yes i know there's a lot of hate for him, and i might be called a hip-hop head but some of the lines he comes out with are amazing if you think about it, the similes and metaphors really are quite outstanding, his lyrical skills are good, to me anyway i think)
5. Proof / D12 Member - The man who's an inspiration to all of us... R.I.P doody!

Eminem just isn't a good enough rapper. I've explained why a million times.

1. Eminem

His provocations made history, no fear in going against the establishment. He had a funny side, he had a serious side. He owned the world with his IDGAF attitude. Just born to rap.

2. Dr. Dre

The producer god, criticized for not being able to write his own lyrics. But his flow and his gangsta attitude made him legendary.

3. Game

One of the most talented rappers ever, nearly no one created such an anticipation. And he didn't disappoint, The Documentary was an instant classic.

4. Jay-Z

Predestinated to be on the throne after Biggie's and Pac's death, he in fact handled to become HipHop's most respectable unity.

5. 50 Cent

Nearly shot dead, he accepted 1 Million Dollar and signed to Shady Records. A new star was born, the American clubs went crazy. Banger.

On the real though, yes. He's #1 on my list. Just for the simple fact that his music always had some sort of wit/ cleverness about it. Something about it always screamed GENIUS. It makes you say things like "How the fuck did he come up with that" lol I like alot of MC's, but I've never come across one who has used his wit and skill to become the voice of a generation and a social icon, while still being very listenable.
