Even though hip hop/rap is my favorite genre of music, it definately has irked me to no end that so many rappers today do this.

MOST other genres(rock, pop, jazz, etc.) have common sense to understand that people buy albums to hear the artist. You don't see Coldplay having Green Day and Oasis as features all over each other's albums.

But for some reason in hip hop, we have idiot rappers obsessed with this whole "bromance" nonsense of having an orgy of fellow rappers on their record because they don't want to hurt their feelings.

Its pathetic. Are Nas and Em the only rappers who have consistently used their head and been consistent with having SOLO albums?

God its so damn frustrating.. :facepalm

This. I fucking hate features on albums. I buy an album from a certain artist to hear that artist, not a bunch of verses from some other random rappers that I don't give a fuck about. There are so many songs that I could have loved but have instead been ruined by some shitty rapper doing a fucking awful verse.

Dope, I hope Em didn't do a verse for this that got rejected....

But I think he would have killed it. Bit of a shame.

Dope Hook, he should do his own from now on.

Dope as fuck though :y:

Yeah it does. His voice sounds like Recovery-on stuff, it's just that the style is more like 2002, I think.
