Been a long time that I bumped that shit 'FULLY'. I usually listen to the edited version without Royce. Zzz..

Maybe it's just me, but I always felt that "Lighters" would be a more decent song if you removed Bruno's chorus and changed the tempo for the verses. Eminem sounds less than natural as he seemingly rushes to spit his verse to the beat.

But yeah, mother-FUCKER at "Lighters" ruining the cohesiveness. They say they threw the EP together but it sounds totally flowing and coherent until you hit that track.

It's okay to have an okay, an average or even a bad track as long as it fits the album. That chorus just sounds so ridiculous amongst a bunch of dark, sinister raps. So annoying too as Em basically did the same thing for me with 'Relapse'. It's like ffs, STOP compromising for that one shitty song which barely makes a difference anyway!

"Fast Lane" was basically more popular and liked and that's hardcore rap. You don't need to ruin a song or make a piece of shit to make people like it. It just needs to be GOOD!.

Haven't read through the entire thread yet, but Eminem didn't call for Bruno to be on there. That was Royce. I believe he did it for more sales (although that may be wrong) but he definitely was the one who asked for him to be on there.

Also, My Ipod accidentally took off Lighters.. at first I was pissed (I like the song actually) and then I listened to the EP all the way through without it (it skips from 6-8, obviously) ..

The only way to describe that is..

Couldn't rock with the album the content just wasn't good music to me it sounded like they were just rapping no direction or depth. Never been a fan of Mr Porter either this EP made me understand why Eminem did most the Production on both D12 albums a great job and Mr Porter done barley any tracks his beats re too bland and boring.

Just not a fan of Porter beats they lack life to me anyway. I mean look @ the production on Devils Night, D12 World, 8 Mile soundtrack which majority was done by Eminem compared to the production on Infinite and Bad Meets Evil which was done majority by Porter. I mean the Production on Devils Night by Em makes the Production Porter did on Infinite and BME look really ametur.

Yup... but he also produced "Take From Me" and "Above The Law"! Plus, "I'm On Everything".

Wasn't that what they've always said? Lol.

But word, I feel you. I wish Em did way more producing, especially on the EP. He woulda made it even more bombastic.

Yeah i think Eminem is a relly musical type producer most his beats been original he made from scratch they so unique and crafted well.

Looking back at it now, it was a decent 2011 release, I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but I wouldn't say it's awful either.

I'm a big fan of Hell: The Sequel, for me it has really good replay value. I agree with lighters ruining the mood of the EP, I really liked Em's verse but. Wasn't the biggest fan of 'take from me' or 'Loud Noises', the rest of the EP I thought was great.

I would not really like to see this kind of solo album for Em though, I'm hoping for something a bit more like MMLP but I can't see that happening so I'm really hoping for something like TES.

Thought Mr Porter did a good job on production though :y:

I thought it was funny that it took a million people to produce Lighters.
