I just thought of calling it...

Remember Remember the 5th of November

And actually release it on the 5th of November. And have subject-matter relating to the current failure of big government; anti-establishment views but frame it in artistic concepts (kind of how like "Square Dance" was conceptual, yet still a political message) and obviously the famous saying (for those who don't know: Google it) would resonate with the material; and cleverly with the actual release date so that people may start to relate the phrase to the album.

You could write/rap about current events in concepts and artistic ways and still make it very dark and cool and unique too; the riots, the economical collapse; the obvious impending collapse of the dollar and attempt at world currency; the struggle for privacy and free-speech... there's so much going on right now that could merit a sort of 'mmlp 2012' but... presented in richer and less personal ways, layered with ideas. And it could be very relevant and daring.

--

Seriously though, there's so much he could do and use his talents for. I'm really sick of people just wanting to hear him rap about himself / basic struggle.

Or even just 'The 5th of November'. That would be a cool concept and title.

I think that would be an awful title. I like the idea, it could almost work, but the title doesn't flow well at all. It should roll off the tongue.

In any case, if you had done your homework, you would know that Eminem has said he supports Obama, yet Obama is one of the most imperialistic presidents in the last decade! There's not a lot Eminem could say about his own country: it's certainly not akin at all to his views on Clinton and Bush/Cheney, which is a shame.

Are you aware of the saying though? if you're not aware of the saying it looks random / awkward, but if you are and aware of how it's said, it's the definition of 'rolling' of the tongue, as it's said in a rhythm, and common / well-known to a lot of people.

With B.O (he stinks) - I think Em like most general political onlookers just supported Obama because he gave a good impression of 'change' and the fact he's black and it was 'making history', and he was young and a fairly charismatic public speaker (especially compared to Bush of course), I think all that just made B.O a popular figure; he looked appealing, and genuine. But yes, it really doesn't matter if Obama stays or any of those main party clowns besides Paul gets in, same deal.

But political parties and all the trivial shit that comes as an upshot of our shitty system isn't really the issues, and it's not what's important, or the fundamentals.

Eminem understands the fundamentals, he showed that on The Marshall Mathers LP. He's a supporter of free-speech, non-intervention, transparency and he seems to have fairly solid values that align with the solid foundation of the constitution and most free-thinking, intelligent people. So, he absolutely could interpret the world as it is now and produce some articulate, inadvertently political, thrilling music. I think he could say a lot about the country...

It's less about the country though, I think the aim could/would be better to be a more human album. As in, beyond specific political figures, beyond America; more-so again, the fundamentals, the values, which have been hijacked and stripped down and compromised by politics. The things we all want, in all countries. His talent is so bat-shit insane good when he's on point, it'd just be such a shame for him to remain so inward at this point...

But there's definitely evidence he's not, with say "Love the Way You Lie", that's him encapsulating a topic and a subject-matter, without being concerned about it being about him, he's in-character and he just freely hammers the painting to the wall, there's been growth, so we'll see.

Yeah, being a fellow Brit, I know the saying. I just think it's too long to work as a title.

It would make an excellent EP though! Like a pre-album taster, or if released next year, a post-album refill.
