And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin

How there has been such a swing of opinion from 'the accents are fucking shit' to 'the accents are dope', I will never understand.

Where have all the Relapse haters gone? Honestly. There isn't a single negative comment about Relapse in this thread.

Relapse actually reflected his efforts to get back to killing. Recovery was just him feeling normal all over again. That's why I love Relapse more than Recovery.

A couple more years and people will realize how amazing it was.

I just hope music reviewers throw it on again and capture the beauty of it.

Rev, he is talking how people here follow trends. And I agree.

If there was less accent and more songs like Deja Vu and Beautiful, it would have been Relapse. But considering that this ain't the case, I say Recovery.

I am too. But I honestly think it's just this forum that really has a boner for that album and the average listener prefers Recovery.

Average listener sucks. I like how a lot of people point to album sales. Relapse is at 5 million, Recovery 7, according to wiki. Take Lil wayne and Rihianna off that album and watch the millions fall off that total.

Hearing Em whine about proof, kim and his addiction is more mainstream friendly than serial killer stuff.

So it was more commercially successful. But that doesn't define a good album. Beats, lyrics, flow and direction. Relapse is better in all those areas.

It's too hard to choose between the two for me, it depends on what I'm feeling. I was straight up addicted to both of them for months after they released.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Relapse on first listen and I loved Recovery and I listen to them a lot. Recovery slightly more, I suppose.

But the trend following is a bit tedious...make up your own minds! This is why there are so many religious people.

I agree they have very different moods and I will listen to one more than the other depending upon how I'm feeling. Overall, I'd say I like the whole album of Relapse more. Simply because I like his angrier songs better than his mentally healthy songs, LOL! Heh, I'm glad he's healthy. Want him to stay healthy and be happy. I just liked his pissed off, I hate the world songs better. ;) So I'll still buy his "I'm healthy and happy" albums. But I also will keep listening to his drugged up and pissed off work as well.
