Well it's not that wrong. It rocketed him back in the spotlights and showed everyone he was still able to make a good album that would sell great, like the biggest selling rap artist he is.

Anyway, Em never dissed mainstream rappers for the fuck of it. Maybe Vanilla ice but that's it.

Blu doesnt seem to get what Im saying. With songs like LTWYL and Not Afraid he became this down to earth loveble guy that anyone could listen to. Before that only hardcore hiphop fans could listen to him. I.e maybe recovery did the same thing as 8 mile did back in the day. It showed another side of him.

I completely disagree with the bold bit.

Firstly, Eminem was LESS popular in 2010 when NA and LTWYL were out. He was much more popular in 2000-2002 than he was in 2010, even though he was releasing "harder" music during the 2000-2002 period. Part of the reason is that it was different back then anyway, hip hop was mainstream as hell back then, you could release a pure hip hop song and have it be a massive chart hit, even worldwide, but it's not like that anymore.

Secondly, he was the biggest artist of the decade (2000-2009). He was more popular than Britney Spears and Beyonce. It definitely was not just hardcore hip hop fans that were listening to him. He was hugely popular when I was in junior and senior school.

Also, I don't think old Eminem would have dissed Rihanna really. She's hardly comparible to Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera back in the day (although those two pop stars themselves went through a big image change a couple of years later, something which Em probably approved of).

He probably would've dissed Carly Rae Jepsen and Taylor Swift, they're very much like Britney and Christina were back in 1999. I agree probably One Direction and The Wanted as well. I'm not sure about Justin Bieber though. I know it sounds silly, but Justin is quite involved in the urban music community, and probably has a lot of mutual friends with Em.

I can't read your post. Fuck it. Do the math, you will know what I mean? And read my post again for better understanding and before venturing in stupid arguments which you can't even handle.
