If the '13 album manages to top both Recovery and Relapse, I will be very happy, indeed! For the moment, however, I'm less optimistic. The build-up for Recovery was crazy, we got 'Forever', 'Drop The World' & 'Airplanes pt II', all of which I'd probably rank over the recent Em collabs. But we'll see. One factor, though, that should increase the probability of a solid album, is the fact that it's been 3 years since his last solo album.

In my opinion, no album could possibly surpass Slim Shady. The importance of that album and the time it came out...there was nothing like it at the time. I was like who is this Slim Shady guy? Holy shit! Then I keep hearing about Em's "big 3" or whatever but for me it's more the Big 2, then Eminem Show which is a 95/100 album but it lost a bit of the fire and darkness of the previous 2. It didn't feel as dangerous, plus it had a few average tracks. I think a lot of original Slim shady fans know what I mean by this Then there's a cult classic in relapse and a commercial yet good album in Recovery. Infinite is underground so respect for that, then Encore......that was possibly the disappointment of my life. So if MMLP2 can be at least in the top 4, that's excellent.
