Next album should be shorter

i do see where youre coming from but with an artist like eminem, longer albums are better. since he isnt going to put an album out with a complete story where every song relates to each other, why limit the length?

I definitely agree. To me the optimal number of songs is 12 or 14 at tops. That way, the quality of the whole album is more likely to be better, and the album will be more cohesive and flow better. It's one thing to delete songs you don't like, it's another thing when the LP is coherent by default. When people evaluate an album, they take all songs in consideration. Filler songs disappoint me and since I don't listen to them anyway, then it'd be better if they were left out to begin with.

Sure it depends on taste, but the general ratings are usually the same. Like, most people liked Going Through Changes and Almost Famous the most, while Won't Back Down and White Trash Party the least on Recovery.

Or with TES, Drips and Say What You Say are usually the least liked, while Sing For The Moment and Till I Collapse take the number one spot (see the elimination threads for reference).

And remember quality is always better than quantity. I'd rather have 12 songs that are 4-5 stars, than a bunch of 3's with a 5 here and there.

About the skits, I think they're great. They kind of give album a certain atmosphere... The Kiss, for example. I could live without a skit that immitates the sounds of sucking a dick, tho.

holy crap it's not like you can't skip the tracks you don't like. Most people have different tastes, like most people i like cold wind blows, i hate on fire and dont care for wtp
