^ I agree, same would go for if he walked out tomorrow in a do-rag. It would look weird. If he were to wear a ball cap normally, that'd be fine. Beanies are good too, those work for everyone at any age :y:

It's not immature so much as it's just...I don't know, it looks unnatural.

It would be like him rocking the blond hair again. I do think that a PR person had a hand in helping him out with a new style, as he doesn't seem to be the type that is overly concerned with that, but I still think it's more fitting.

I don't see anything immature about backwards caps.....

I've seen plenty of 40 year olds rocking that. I think an Interscope PR person told him to switch his style up. He looked comfortable with how he was dressing. It was a drastic change.

I never said it looked bad or immature, it just looks weird.

To be honest, from a girls perspective... he can't ever look bad. He's hot as hell. He can stand around in nothing bit a knee-length white t and look fantastic lol

You guys need to get off this relapse shit. It was a weak album. Eminem was tryin to go back to what he did in the MMLP era and nobody was buying it. The whole album felt forced, minus a few tracks. How many of you were praising it when it came out?

Recovery was a very good album. Its Em being true to his identity and evolving as an artist - not trying to be something from the past.

(if you liked Relapse more power to you - I like bits of relapse also - but the problem with a lot of you fans is your stuck in your own expectations of who Eminem is. MMLP Em is never coming back. Its done, he's a different guy. Let it go, sit back and enjoy the music or at least judge it on its on merits and stop comparing it to Em's old shit).

The only way it's similar to MMLP is through "shock value", but that's not even why I like it. The production is amazing, the hooks are amazing, and everything is so precise and smooth from the lyrics to the beats.

He's was obviously trying to go back to the old formula before Encore, and it felt forced. Thats why it wasnt recieved that well. It sounded outdated . If you like it more power to you , its not like I hate it - but i find ironic how some em fans are praising it now.

Blu wrote:2009 was when Eminem was really in his comfort zone. I don't think he's felt like that since recent though. Recovery seems a bit forced, even if it was about overcoming his demons.

This is how I feel but I really do think he's starting to go back to that Relapse attitude. You can just tell it in his mannerisms and music. Especially his last performance when he fell on the ground during My Name Is on purpose. It's those little things that give me hope for his future music.

REALLY hoping he does go back to that mindstate though. Not accents or serial killer content or anything like that but it's just that attitude...it was the Slim Shady attitude that had seemingly died off in like 2006 or whenever the fuck Curtain Call came out. He was fully immersed in his Shady character and it made some very interesting music. Then Recovery dropped, which I feel IS a genuine body of work from him despite what others may say. I really just think Relapse 2 is what became Recovery with a different name and theme. I believe that there is a separate Relapse 2 that he had completed before he even turned the first one in but it was scrapped.
