I can see where Talib Kweli coming from as far as double standards, As people have said tho Em when he does it just using a character playing around. But at the same time parents wouldn't want their children listening to that. Keeping in mind Em didn't even let his own daughter listen to that kind of material.

We can say the same thing about ANY fucking rapper. Why are some rappers questioned, and others aren't? Why can't Eminem rap about food and bitches but Kanye West can? Why can Lil Wayne make a shitty punchline and get praise for it but Eminem gets shit for a halfway clever punchline?

Music is subjective though fam. Talib wasn't talking about that he was speaking about strictly double standards as far as content. It's like this thread reminded me Em wouldn't even let Hailie listen certain songs.
