You're forgetting the wicked homophobia of Headlights. By denouncing the song Cleanin' Out My Closet, Eminem is saying he would prefer that gays stay in the closet because he hates them and wants to run over them with his car, which has headlights. By making peace with his mother, he is endorsing heteronormativity because some people have two dads instead of a mother and that really pisses Eminem off because he hates gays.
