I know where you're coming from, but i think that's mainly because no one of any skill would want to go against Em. He has just always been used for press by no bodies. But who can blame him for responding to those people? Ja and Whitey mentioned his daughter, Zino basically said that he was taking money away from black artists, and Limp betrayed him. 3 things that would get anyone in Em's position really angry. Jermaine was Dre's thing, Em just enjoyed fucking over a dude that claimed to be better than Dre, as a friend. To be fair, with ICP, he didn't really give them as much time as they gave him (and rightly so in my opinion, they're clowns, and i don't mean what they wear..) and just killed them in one verse on Marshall Mathers.

As far as the Celebs, i think if other rappers got the "pop like" coverage he did, then they'd use that pedistool to say how poor the music scene is now. I just wish that him and Canibus had really gone at each other. I just always thought that while they had beef, they also respected each other too much as lyricists to really go at it.

I'm in two minds whether Em should even mention Ross. I mean the guys trying WAYYYY harder than say Benzino, and people actually knew who Ross was before he mentioned Em's name lol
I just want Em to shut the guy up, but to also release a great diss track (usually my fave Em tracks). But yet Em doesn't need it really right now, he should concentrate on the interviews and performances, and making sure that this album fucking rocks and sells loads.

Canibus vs. Eminem would have been bigger than Pac vs. BIG, bigger than Jay vs. Nas. It really is a pity they didn't go at it to make it into a full out war. Now that mentioned it, i forgot about Cage as well. That would have been an insane battle, but it also never really happened besides for a few lines here and there.

And you're right about Ross. I actually enjoyed his new album, i think its fuckin awesome (it IS better than the latest crap that Curtis been putting out recently) but if Em had get back on his battling shit, there's really no competition.

Most probably 50 will reply on Em's behalf, though i would be interested to see what happens if Ricky goes ahead and mentions Hailie or somethin like that...

But like you said this shit just aint all about dissin motherfuckers all the time - i'd be more than glad if Em just focuses on making some dope music for the fans (and to keep his reputation as one of the greats alive). And what do you guys mean 'if' Em vs Canibus. They did go at each other. Canibus had several songs about Em and have you guys not heard "Can-I-Bitch" lol? I know it's a jokey / story rap but it's still a full-fledged diss track against him.

Yeah but we mean apart from Dr C PHD for Bus, and Canibitch for Em, there were no real confrontations. Even in those songs, there's no real malice. In Canibitch Eminem keeps it quite light and banter like, while also ripping in to JD. In Dr C PHD Canibus doesn't actually name Em.

There was just things like Em's first verse to "Say my name" and of course "Square Dance". But like the subliminal shit in "When the music stops", it more of a game of "Spot the subliminals", they never actually really went hard and direct.
