He might make five more. Who knows. He probably only has enough gas in the tank for maybe one or two more good albums.

I remember hearing him saying he didn't want to be rapping when he is 40. Well....he isn't that far away from 40. It's hard to say goodbye. Look at Ken Griffey, been playing baseball 20 years. Look at Brett Favre or all the other people that won't let go.

I would probably still listen to his album if he made one at 60. I can't help but give the guy a chance.

Maybe just one more, unfortunately. And that won't come out til at least 2012 in my opinion. We'll see though.....

Christ, I really hope he only makes 2 more at most. Seriously, actaully I think just one. It's too easy just to carry on and release sub-standard music and ruin your legacy. Just ask Jay-Z.

He should just retire, wait 5-10 years then start releasing unreleased material from each time period. Like stuff that didnt make the SSLP, then stufff that didnt make the MMLP etc. That would be fascinating.

There's a lot of us who think Jay-Z still has it. American Gangster is brilliant (so much better than the film), The Blueprint III is great, and well, Kingdom Come is his Encore. I'll give the haters that one.

See, I thought American Gangster was alright but I honeslty didnt get the hype around it. Blueprint 3 was fucking horrible. Had the playback ability of Fack. Lets see how many times I can mention how good I am, and how rich am I. Ohhh shall I talk about money again? Then manybe haters? Cliche crap. I really do dislike pop rap.

I've actually listened to BP3 about as many times as Relapse. There's no doubt which one is the much better album, but for me at least, The Blueprint III has a ton of replay value. I do wish he used a lot less features. It's not that I dislike most of them (though I HATE the hook of "On to the Next One"),, it's that I bought the Jay-Z album because I wanted to hear Jay-Z. I hope Em doesn't do that with Recovery.

Hate heavy-feature albums. Cheers by Obie Trice would have been a classic but I didnt hear enough Obie. Ridiculous.

That's why, while they're both still excellent, I don't think The Chronic and 2001 are two of the greatest albums. They're more like "Dr. Dre Presents" than just Dr. Dre. I don't like that.

2001 is overrated to me anyway. I adore The Chronic but, yeah, I see what you mean, I love a good feature but like every song is annoying.

It seems to me that some rappers are so concerned with getting a ton of features to boost album sales that they practically forget to actually be on their own damn album. Anything Dre's done, The Blueprint III, and Cheers are all great examples of this. I mean, The Chronic is classic for a reason and I'm not hating on 2001, but he could have done a few solo tracks, or at least tracks where he raps all the verses like "The Watcher".
