when did his dad do an interview? i mean i do think em holds bad grudges. he doesnt know the situation but i do understand he would be upset because his dad did leave him and thats a real coward move but what upsets me is he has a half brother and sister that didn't do anything to him and 2 other baby nieces as well. iv spoke to his sister actually. she is really nice and i just feel so bad for them that Nathan who dont even get me started. i love nate but why does he get the chance to have such a great brother but his sister and other brother don't. I mean he has 2 baby nieces that he doesn't even know and they will never get a chance to see there uncle. thats so sad. maybe dont talk to his dad but i think he should contact his other family. just because there on his dad side doesnt mean its there fault. they wasn't even born yet.

thats just how i feel about the situation but of course only em can make that decision.

Let me tell you that this letter from Eminem's father Bruce is a hoax. He was my assistant manager at the Plainsman Hotel in Williston ND. He is at least in his mid to late fifties, in his letter he stated he was 50...not true. I worked for him until he left the Plainsman Hotel after working there no more then two years, while his father was sick and after he had passed away. Eminem's mother left Bruce because he was working long hours and socializing in what we had called the boom room after work. He had to, after all he was the assistant manager and he had to cater to the public. Besides he had a manager to answer to Wilbur Robb and the shareholders of the Plainsman Hotel. Believe what you want to believe, I almost did until he stated in the letter that he is 50 years old. I would love to see him reply to some of these messages in here. There would be a few questions I would ask him that only the "real" Bruce Mathers would know. Just my opinion....

I went into the newspaper that this letter is from, I see the date on there is 2001. That would make him 59 now. Perhaps I should have read that first because that would make him the correct age and I would not have disputed it being a real letter or a hoax.

But Em had a close relationship with some of his dad's family members. His Great Uncle Charles and Aunt Edna are from his dad's side of the family, and I think that he was still in touch with them. I remember reading an Eminem interview where he said that he was at his Aunt and Uncle's house and Charles was talking to his dad on the phone. When Charles' asked whether he wanted to speak to Em, he basically said no. So I think that he was hoping to get some money of Em.

Wrong!!! Aunt Edna and Uncle Charles are from his mother's side and they had passed away. Uncle Charles had passed away 15 years ago or somethink and his aunt - a few mounts ago i think. He talk about her in The Way I Am book and he said that he called her on the phone often just to talk!!!
