Dre's beats are great but what Em does on the beats lately is usually bad.

Dr.dre is a bad producer IMO

So bad sucks

All of his beats soun the same...the so bad beat sounds like a mix of my mom, and must be the ganja

Its annoying the way they all sound the same

Like..listen to deja vu...and crack a bottle...those songs content can't be any different..but the beats sound the same

Same with like every beat except we made you, and hello kinda

Dre should umm..quit

You're an idiot. Why do you treat this place like it has one collective opinion? Who is this "yall" that said Recovery is worse than TES? Is it a majority? Fair enough. Is it a minority? Fair enough. But that doesn't mean you have to follow it's opinion as though it's the entire forum's. If you think it's better than TES then fucking fine, you don't need us to tell you what to think.

Of course you're just a troll so this post won't stop you talking this really annoying crap. But i would stop if i was you.

Recovery is so bad. Eminem should retire, that album was just embarrassing. Lil Wayne had the best verse on the album. Carter 3 > Recovery. You're Never Over is the worst song I've ever heard. Redzek makes better songs then that.

I find it funny how this thread has gone far from the original topic lol. and to the people that say Dr. Dre is a bad producer are just haters, Dre has produced classics before. I think if Dre produced Recovery, people wouldn't be complaining about the production on Recovery. Which I had no problem with to begin with, since it was something different from what he usually does. I just would like to hear Eminem and Dre make more serious songs together to see how it would come out. I don't think that's too much to ask.

im not a hater

dres beats all sound the same. he cant rap. he has to get people to write his shit for him. and he still wont put his CD out...which pisses everyone off...

if those things werent true i guess id sound like a hater...but those are all facts.

so...im not being a hater..dre just sucks

hes legend yeah....so is eazy-e but that doesnt mean the line "i woke up at noon, i had to be in compton soon" is lyrical genius

flavor flav is a legend...and dont even get me started on his skills (even tho there is noone cooler than flavor flav..he sucks at rapping)

legend status does not mean anything...hes only a legend because there was barely any other rap to listen to at the very begining of his career...so he was just loved so much by default

Id have to say that if dre had produced all of recovery it would have been way different. But there is no doubt in my mind that changing producers is Not a bad thing. It shows his versatility in hip hop. In truth, recovery sounds mainstream in production. I even made mention of this when I was suggesting the album to my friends. But besides that this is em's crowning acheivement. He came back to the game realzing hip hop isn't just him and dre. Hasn't anyone even wondered the fact that em has been on 3 fl studio beats. He realizes the talent in everyone and he's mentioned it in interviews. Recovery is what hip hop is all about. Being different and doing what you love. With dre he would have been too much the same. It would have been relapse 2 not recovery.

Ps dre only produced a couple tracks on sslp, mmlp, and tes the rest was usually em or other producers.

Dr. Dre being compared to Flava Flav....hahahahahahahahahaha. I bet you don't know a thing about Dr. Dre prior to 1999. Funny you should bring up Flava Flav ... u must be a reality tv obsessed faggot. Dre is a legend, not by default but based on his career. He created the "west-coast sound". He brought out a whole new side to hip-hop. He is responsible for bringing Eminem into the limelight for fuck's sakes. Has worked with the best of the best ... why? Because he is the best of the best too. Idiots.

G-Funk anyone ?
