You're 20 and you "do everything in your power to still listen to" Eminem against the will of your parents? You're either lying about your age, or you're vastly exaggerating the amount of "power" it takes to listen to music when you're an adult.
As for me, my Dad sort of introduced me to Eminem's music when I was a kid, and always had me make copies of the albums so he could listen to them when he went to work. My mom bought me SSLP up to the Eminem Show, so it's not like she was dead-set against him or anything.
