uh what???

this is not even close to true. the only songs that come close are till i collapse and white america and maybe say what you say and on those he was still riding the beats perfectly and switching his flow up nicely.

try...
White America
Square Dance
Say Goodbye to Hollywood
Soldier
...shit its pretty much all of them like i said...go back and listen like i did just NOW to make sure i wasn't just talkin shit

i really dont see how he is yelling on square dance, or say goodbye to hollywood.

imo soldier is the prefect example of how he should use his double time flow, still stacking syllables and changing his vocal tone at certain times to emphasize words, instead of just rhyming fast for the whole verse.

I was actually let down Em didn't spit as fast as i was hoping based on DTW and Forever...idk what you think fast is but only No Love is consistently double time

"ride the beat" like ciara :coffee:

"no love" was faster in my mind (compared to forever and DTW)

Why is it a balance of shit ?! it wasn't that good and wasn't that bad though.

Evil Deeds
Never Enough
Yellow brick road
Like toy soldiers
mosh
mockingbird
Encore

^They are awesome

Puke
Rain man
ass like that
crazy in love
spend some time
one shot 2 shot

^they are ok

Big Weenie
My 1st Single
just lose it

^ they are suck

Why do you think the quality is horrible just because of the Big Weenie, My 1st Single & just lose it ?
and remember there's no such as a perfect album.

They claim that I'm violent, just cause I refuse to be silent
These hypocrites are havin fits, cause I'm not buyin it
Defyin it, envious because I will rebel against
any oppressor, and this is known as self defense
I show no mercy, they claim that I'm the lunatic
But when the shit gets thick, I'm the one you go and get
Don't look confused, the truth is so plain to see
Cause I'm the nigga that you sell-outs are ashamed to be

This man just can not win, can he? First it was the accent, then it was the horrorcore, now when he ditches it and goes back to his aggressive flow and tries out something new with punchlines people still hate on him. Damn.

where did i hate on him?

i said that recovery was a good album but it has flaws that need to be corrected in order for him to make a classic.

that is not hate.

when you are one of the best rappers of all time you get held to a high standard. it comes with the territory.

Sorry dude, that was an awful analysis. Sounds like you think there arent any classic hip-hop albums that contain those elements. Recovery definetely is closer to being a classic than closer to being merely good. You think 4 stars is "nice"? The only think stopping Em from having another classic is classic production. You might have a point with the punchlines too, imo WBD wasnt the kind of track I was looking to hear from Em and there are a few weak punchlines scattered around the album.

analysis?

i just said what i felt was wrong with the album.

over use of double time flow? check
overdose of punchlines? check
shouting over beats? check

maybe i have higher standards for the word classic than you.

Edited first post +
I disagree about the fast flow and shouting, agree some punches were weak and production could have boosted this album even more. Still a four-star (great) album for me.
