Yes, you read that right. And no, you didn't accidentally slip into a time machine and end up back in 1999 again (but, by all means, holla at us if you find one!). Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" are finally getting around to putting together their looooooooong-awaited Bad Meets Evil EP—more than a decade after rap fans expected it. It'll drop this June on Shady Records. And if their new joint, "Fast Lane," is any indication, it was well worth the wait.

The verdict seems to be out on whether or not the hip-hop community still needs a Slim Shady and Royce collaborative project, though. After all, they've both been through a lot over the course of the last 10 years or so and Bad Meets Evil was originally supposed to help both artists introduce themselves to the world, not serve as a culmination of their careers. Nonetheless, we happen to think that now is the perfect time for them to team up and drop the project. So we sat down and came up with a list of five reasons that we think it'll work. I know wikipedia isn't a great source, but when i was going through the Outsidaz Ep's today i saw this on the article for the Outsidaz:

On November 28, 2010 Zee produced the song "Turn em' To Gorilas" from the group Bad Meets Evil consisting of Eminem & Royce Da 5'9.

Referring to Young Zee, I don't know if it's a random edit, or if somebody knows something they shouldn't, anyhow, since it has a date on it for when he produced it.. it seems like it could be fake, and Zee isn't a named producer for the EP, but we will see

The latter, at least this confirms that they will have a content driven track.

I will go out on a limb and say the track will have Em and Royce talking about squashing the beef or something along those lines.
