Reason was because of how not into it he was. Like he was just talking. I'm not saying he should be yelling or anything, but a little emotion would help.

I love Buddens work, and when I met him he came off as a nice dude but his cypher verse was boring about 70 percent of the time. I expected better from him
Wait a fucking second, you fucking seen and met joe? :worship:

but you are sooooooo ignorant for saying joe budden has no emotion, ever listen to him?
No lol I'm saying in the cypher he lacked emotion. I wish he would have unleashed himself more

Listening to this several times, Yelawolf is fucking badass. I'm really digging how different he sounds to anything else out there, and his flow is sick.

Looking at Yela's perform reminds me of Eminem when he used to perform like that.Usually I don't like his delivery but he sounded really good .

Great Cypher. Everyone brought it! Em and Joe took it though. :worship:

Yelawolf was his usual Alabama peasant-self. Fucking awful. His verse was the worst and there's no doubt about it.

I ain't got a problem with Yela, but his block was lackluster.

After a few more listens, Crooked I takes the 2nd place behind Em. He's fucking sick with the battle raps, which is what the cyphers are all about.

And you keep bringing up a producer like Havoc and earlier Khalil, two of which I had mentioned prior to you, so why did you ignore that? It is in fact YOU EmBase who twisted my words.

For shame. :shakehead:

Kind of. But I said that he should work with The Bass Bros and produce things himself again too, so it doesn't imply anything old can't be incorporated into an evolution of style or artistry.

The reason I don't want him to work with Dre is that it usually just inspires him to think old thoughts or try to emulate older material. And aside from Relapse, Dre's beats sound very similar all the time to me. So I think it would be a repeat of the past in some way.

I never want a repeat. I would rather hear a failed experimentation than a successful repeat. When an artist like Em stops having the ambition to evolve, experiment and change, it's indicate to them losing that natural spark for innovation. They become self-parody, or boring (Encore).

I don't think Dre's music will inspire Em to come up with anything particularly different at this point. Unless Em independently developed new ideas and applied them to Dre's music. But I'd prefer Em working with new, GOOD producers (a few only) to produce a cohesive, NEW album.
