It didn't get radio play, SH singles did better than New Day and nearly everyone thought it was a weak single.

And before "who gives a fuck about radio blah blah blah"...He's a mainstream artist, he should get radio play, not to forget the fact that the song was radio friendly.

Seriously, they played the song here in Belgium and I heard it like at least once a day. It was on radios, but just when they had to release a video Chris Lighty died.

It had good reviews from Hip Hop web sites and shit. I exaggerated with the 1%, people really loved it. But it didn't sell. Just didn't work.

I watch the morning news before I go to class and they still play "New Day" all the time, also watched football(american) they played the song during the highlights of the game, pre-season basketball when the Lakers were playing they played that song. Not only that it still gets moderate play in L.A. radio
