Bullshit. We're always hoping to hear something great. Sometimes we're happy sometimes we're disappointed.

That second verse was crammed to some extent.

It's definitely you. You listed some amazing songs with amazing verses that many people enjoy. If all of them bother you...you should probably just stop listening to Eminem.

Very few of them bother me. If I listen to most of the songs I listed individually, they're great. I just wouldn't want to listen to them all one after another. Then it would just feel like way too much. The point is, Em's been using either the double-speed flow or the choppy and crammed flow pretty liberally for a while now. It's getting to the point where I feel like he may never stop using it.

The lyrics are on point. But i think in order for his lyrics to work and the words to mesh right he has to spit in double time. So i accept his verse as it is on Det vs Everybody. Shady 15 (track 1) could be the song of the century. Keep an eye on that song. Em likes to start off strong and set a mood.

I'm incredibly hyped for it.

Imagine a 5 minute long, self-produced freestyle or something like that...

SWA and trex on point.

Honestly I'm not even the type of person to call people out over the Internet in a malicious manner, but if you don't like the song fine, but stop coming In here bitching about everything that comes to mind, stop souring up the the thread for the the people that do like it. You don't need to be a dick about your negativity, it's extemely unecessary.

I don't hear the choppiness at all. I could understand not liking it that's fine, just the way some of you are going about expressing how much you hate it is annoying for the rest of us, or at least to me.
" Life can change your directions, even when you ain't planned it
All you can do it handle it, worst thing you can do is panic
Use it to your advantage, avoid insanity manage
To conquer, every obstacle, make impossible possible
Even when winning illogical, losing is still far from optional.." -T.I.

Seriously. Its like we dont go in to like the music. We go into criticize and down talk the song. And then we complain about everything about it and barely say anything good.

And his flow isnt choppy at all. Its perfect. Thats just how that flow he used is.

This is the best Em we have had in years, quit complaining. Imo, some of the shit he is releasing lately is the best Em.

Won't be the last time I make a dramatic entrance like that again
You thought I was lyin' when I said I think that I'm crossin' the line again
I've lost my mind, caution oh God I think I've just thought of another fucking line

@SWA I know lol. There are so many times listening through a Nas song or a Jay song or an Atmosphere song or anybody besides Em really where I think damn. If this was Eminem, fans would give him so much shit for this but the artist's respective fans don't give them shit for it. Only with Eminem...

No other rapper's fans are this picky. It's why the hip hop community in general hates Eminem fans.

Em fans love a drama and it's been one after another since the comeback. Roughly in order..

1. Accents - Relapse. In many ways my favourite drama as the accents were almost universally slammed and greeted with disbelief until Recovery when people began pining for them again. Now looked back on as Vintage. 10/10

2. Choppy flow Drop The World and Forever - quite a mild drama as everyone quickly got used to it. 4/10

3. Punchlines - Recovery. A gradually building drama as people began dissecting his lyrics post initial album hype. 6/10

4. SHOUTING!!! - post Recovery songs and features. People were immensely upset by this. 8/10

5. His voice is shot - culminating in Roman's Revenge where it was generally accepted he had broken his vocal chords. Often talked about with a sense of despair and regret. 7/10

6. DOUBLE TIME TOO FAST - Hell The Sequel. A split in the camp? Many loved this style. 3/10.

7. Food References - Occasional features in non-album years. A personal favourite of mine as it culminated in SPA-GET-EVEN and the use of meatball as an insult. 7/10

8. whispering/shouting Richard, Welcome to Our House, Radioactive. Generally viewed as better than just shouting and therefore not too traumatising. 5/10.

--MMLP2 generally no complaints?--

9. Too-many-syllables-per-line-bad-flow
- Calm Down, Twerk Dat, DvE. Let's see where this one goes..

Yeah seriously!

And like if anyone else would do something Em did do, they'd praise it...

This is an Eminem forum, why be on an Eminem forum if all we do is hate on Eminem...

If Em went back to this normal Eminem show, MMLP flow that everyone speaks of I would fall asleep. Flows, ryhme patterns and complex worldplay that he been creating lately (Well, since Relapse) is beyond comprehension to even begin to put in words just how exciting it's to listen to songs and freestyles he been doing lately.

LMAO I know. Its like if its not the excact copy of something from 2000 or 2002 then it sucks ass.

IMO this Em right now is on top of his game. He is his best lyrically and tbh flow-wise as well. :worship:

Choppy flow has been more of an association with MMLP 2 if I'm not mistaken

Don't hate, and appreciate that greatness (Eminem's 2nd Prime) is occurring right now, in front of ALL OF US!
