Eminem to perform at MTV Movies Awards w/Rihanna

Just watched it... I think it was a good performance. Didn't find his movements cringing at all here.

But this just reminds me how he's lost his fucking mind to have put this on an album titled MMLP2... what a fucking disgrace. His verses are pretty boss (and performed excellently here) and the song is enjoyable overall... this would have made a stonking Recovery single... but MMLP2?... NO. And not even just because it's MMLP2 but to be so similar to the prior album - on a new album? Feels so out of place. And such a disservice to the title/concept.

New Em has no respect for sound continuity. Just variety. At any cost.

PS. Em definitely wasn't cringing/awkward here. I wouldn't confuse hand stiffness with awkwardness... he's always used his hands in that way, and I think he's intentionally trying to display an intensity in his movements with tracks like this... but it's definitely a practiced thing with him now -because I saw him live myself and he looked possibly more awkward than in 2010... where as on live MMLP2 performances for TV Shows he looked rhythmic and cool as fuck; like the ''Berzerk'' SNL performance.

But even his melodic leg stomping at the end with Rihanna looked cool here, where as anything he tried to pull off in 010/11 regarding anything bar rapping just looked wrong/embarrassing.

His performance was just fine.. Rihanna looked good and sounded good.. and that was the most confident Em has looked on stage in a long time. This is why I dont ever come on here as much anymore... before his "comeback" I used to always be on this forum (Never really commented though.. too lazy plus i forgot my old login lol). But It was more posistive back then. Just hip-hop fans geeking out about his music and what not. Im all for personal opinion but seriously, is all most people do on this forum now is complain about the stupidest shit. His clothes.. his hand movements.. HAND movements people.. his walk.. his hoodie.

But my point is this:
I understand that giving voice to the minor annoyances in Eminem's work may be cathartic, but listen, Eminem, the person whom those grievances would be better directed to, can't hear us.
Complaining about the annoyances won't magically make them cease to exist. If Eminem's natural rhythmic movement and flow like *hand motion indicating water* have been permanently eroded by age/drugs, talking about it ad nauseam wouldn't bring it back, would it?
Ultimately, continuously whining about insignificant shit will ultimately affect your enjoyment of the album.
It's honestly pointless.
You're hardly more guilty of this than I am, or anybody else here for that matter, but...I dunno, it just gets tiring.
I hope you see my point, I'd hate for this to degenerate into a clash of egos or some shit like that.

His moves now are fine. Actually the worst performances by eminem were the pill era 2004. He looked like a fool at that time.

This. He reached rock-bottom quality-wise around Encore. Some truly horrible songs on that album. Some good ones too ofc, but neither the album nor the performances were Eminem quality.

I was one of the few who said his movements were not cringing and I think he looks cool and natural here lmao... so this is just proof you glanced my response or some negative aspect of it and presumed I was gonna be bitching about that. I wasn't, and don't really care much about that.

It isn't the complaints so much as the endless reiteration.
The "window-pane" line on LTWYL, for example, I barely noticed it when I first heard it but for some time that line was literally all I heard when I listened to the song due to the fact that it was constantly complained about.
I'm reasonably certain that something similar has happened to you; little flaws that you were only marginally aware of that constant complaints blew out of proportion.
That's what I meant.
Also, I want to have Rih's babies. I don't really care how bad she sounds.
