Amadeo wrote:Well, I'll respectfully disagree. if he says he didn't like the accents on Relapse, I'll accept that as fact. There is no higher authority on how Eminem feels about something than Eminem.

Yeah but, he says for example... I dunno, a lot of things about his mother. Which his mother refutes. And, she looks like the guilty party and there's some evidence she was like what he says she was like, but there's also some evidence to the contrary so, somebody saying something doesn't make it fact.

As, we don't truly KNOW do we. Neither of us were there, we didn't truly see how they interacted or what he was treated like. All we can do is take the information we have and form an opinion or view the best we can but, I'd say it's a bit strong to call it a fact just because he says it. It's a fact he said it and it's a fact it's his claim. But I wouldn't say it's a fact that WAS his motive.

And like I say, in the very first interviews about Relapse, which I remember as I posted them on my site, I can't remember the exact magazine but he went in-depth as to why Relapse had little emotion and why he wanted to move away from life issues etc.

Which is why I say I think he's lying about his motives for the new direction. Because he then came with Recovery and said he felt he needed to do all the things he came out saying he purposely avoided doing. But the thing which makes it dishonest for me is, he claimed that... he was basically oblivious to how he sounded on Relapse and that the no emotion thing was an upshot of 'coming out' of a drug phase. When in reality, there's written proof that, that's a lie lmao.

Amadeo wrote:I wasn't saying the accent is silly. I was saying Eminem thought the accent was silly, in retrospect. I'd prefer him rapping normally though.

Thing is though, I don't even hear much of an accent. Sometimes it's apparent like on the "3am" chorus. But, most of the time it just sounds very clear, sharp and higher toned to me. The "Medicine Ball" verses for example, he sounds American to me.

Personally I would much prefer those kind of flows than say most of Recovery flows. Which in comparison sound clunky and a bit messy. The Relapse flows sound so sharp and well-defined. So bouncy, so tight and quick etc.

But yeah, I don't want him rapping in an accent either. But, like I say, a lot of people say half of Relapse is like "Ass Like That" which... if it was I would fucking detest Relapse. So we all must be hearing it differently lmao. Because I HATE "Ass Like That" and that accent, it's so annoying. But I don't hear anything like that in Relapse.

Amadeo wrote:I don't think any of Recovery is self-loathing. In Going Through Changes he's describing how he felt when he was on drugs: "I'm debating on leaving this world this evening, even my girls can see I'm grieving."

Well yeah that's true, there's isn't actually much self-loathing. But he did say that he wanted to stop talking about his life and making it all about him and his issues and make it about lyricism again.

I'm just glad that he's used him his last batch of 'life fuel' with Recovery, in terms of the drug issue. Because there is no way he can flog that again after hammering it so much with Relapse and Recovery and the huge deal that was publicly made out of it with Recovery and "Not Afraid" etc.

I mean, apart from Proof being shot, it's almost like he perversely / subconsciously created those years of recluse and abuse so he'd have something to come back and rap about after clearly being empty and pretty stuck after Encore lmao. So, I can't see where he's going to go next.

The "Block" guide to "How to be a Grade A Moron In Seven Easy Steps."

1. This step is very important, so pay attention. You must first make the majority of your posts into "troll" posts, thus eliminating the need to defend your retarded logic when you're actually serious and giving you ammo against your opponent. All you need to do if confronted with the fact that you're an idiot is say, "duh, I was just trollin, dude. LOL @ you for thinking this was serious, bro. I stay winning, son." Then point out how you "would have schooled [them]" if you had "been going all in" for good measure. If this hasn't exhausted your mental reserves, move onto point 2...

If done correctly, your victim's mood should be the following :o

2. You must then proceed to crack open the moron's best friend: the dictionary! But where to start? You can't say "Arrr, ye absolved aardvark on an ark!", can you? Well, you can, seeing as this is going to be pretty much near what you're going to end up with anyway, but for maximum effect you should flip to the handy section at the back called "Adjectives for Pseudo-Intellectuals" to find everything you'll need to construct a misspelled insult (with a really snappy punchline at the end) to show them you mean business.

3. This step is not for amateurs. Accuse your victim of being so infatuated with whatever they are defending that they actually have the NERVE to disagree with your idiotic view.

Your sentence should look something like this:

You're mad as hell. Deja vu is a sub par song to anyone who isn't obsessed with eminem. what's your point?

This uses the cunning tactic of making it sound like you're validating one point with another, when in essence all you're doing is trying to compensate for your lack of virility by impotently (if you'll excuse the term) trying to insult people on the internet.

I beg to differ. Considering I proved him wrong in every aspect. Spelling errors have little to do with content. Like I said, it's his failsafe for when he loses.

My level of writing dwarfs your comprehension of the English language, tenfold.

Where has your writing and correct grammar gotten you? In your mother's house on trshady arguing for your forum dominance. My writing? An independent record contract, numerous shows and more pussy than you've ever encountered. Need I say more?

4. But the bullshit doesn't have to end there! Follow up on your baffling statement and seize on their confusion claiming you've proven your point beyond reasonable doubt! Genius! Then use a tactic which was formulated by conspiracy theorists and Christians everywhere: say whomever disagrees with you is brainwashed and can't understand the magnitude of what you're arguing for due to their intellectual ineptitude, despite the fact you're the one using this guide. Everyone'll think you're the man and no woman will be able to resist your masculine charm (no matter what *cough* shortcomings you possess), and your crestfallen opponent will never be able to get more than a minimum wage job and a fat slut from that day on.

Your victim's mood =

How are you going to say I'm 'not qualified to judge eminem's work' when I'm probably the most talented writer on this forum? Ask anyone in the real community.. They'll tell you.

Oh.. And I'm infinity better than you and anyone you associate with when it comes to writing and rhyme schemes. I'd rap circles around you, faggot.

I notice you didn't try to defend yourself or form any kind of rebuttal for the fact I'm the better than anyone you know.

The fact you find it top notch and difficult only exemplifies my excellence.

I decided to remind you that I'm better than you'll ever be.

You'd be better off shoving your dick into a meat grinder than arguing with me over rhymes.

Amadeo knows he can't touch me where writing is concerned. His feeble attempts at insults don't hold a candle to me.

And the biggest difference is that I can flow. I'm actually a rapper. I get on stage. You write half-assed text with no flow and very little meaning.. Without a beat. Don't ever try to compare your hobby to my art.

5. This is the best part! Self-aggrandizement, self-aggrandizement, self-aggrandizement. Who better to vouch for your superiority and greatness than...you?

Don't wait for other people to speak up for you (because, let's face it...not gonna happen). Tell them you're awesome. Remind them after every post that you're currently winning the argument. Tell them you're better than them. Tell them you're a REAL rapper singed to an indy label...while you somehow find the need to post every day on an Eminem message board and take part in writing and audio competitions against run-of-the-mill internet posters rapping in their basement. Oh, and mention pussy.

Charlie Sheen waited until he had millions of dollars, won a Golden Globe, and had fucked thousands of women before he began bragging in public.

For you, on the other hand, there is no need to wait until you've done anything noteworthy. All you need to do is win some TRShady sig awards and masturbate a few times to Mila Kunis and you're good to go!

Don't get me wrong. Eminem was great in his prime, but he has never had the intricate rhyme schemes sadistik does. I'm not saying sadistik is better than eminem was; there's a lot of factors that go into making an artist, including marketability; sadistik isn't very marketable to the mainstream, but his rhyming ability is undeniable and trumps anything I've heard from anyone else.

6. Then after proving the intellectual divide of chasmal proportions, go the extra mile and actually try to say something in defense of your point. Always try to side with a biased media perspective on the issue. Try to sound mature and hopelessly conservative, but whatever you do, try not to make it obvious you ride the dick of anything that:

* Has long words and gives the impression of you being smart for liking it.
* Has a gaping lack of substance, despite your futile claims.

Essentially, what you're trying to tell me is that the only words that can rhyme are the ones that hit the snare. Better known as the 'end rhymes', correct? You're beyond help. You should be banned from listening to any form of hip hop. Period.

And be especially sure to misinterpret quotes and try to bolster your ignorant point. That's the golden rule: always take things out of context and hope no one notices that you're a pretentious dipshit.

the hard 'ee' sounds in 'three' and 'Musketeer' rhymes with the hard 'ee' sounds in both 'rear' and 'seat'. It's called assonance. Saying that those rhymes aren't part of the main rhyme scheme is down-right ludicrous.

7) Talk shit as if you know anything about what you're arguing about (for a completely random example, we'll say.... rhyme schemes) and don't worry about making an ass of yourself.

I already pointed this out in one of my first posts toward you: any word with a hard 'e' sound. Meaning eating, etc. you do know what a hard 'e' sound is, right? Is it crayon time again?

Or, perhaps, linguistic terminology in general.

Victim's current mood = :(

And from here on, anything you say won't matter because you've already made yourself look macho! Learn these rules by heart and maybe one day you'll master the art of circumlocutive and plain erroneous speech. Muhammed Saeed al-Sahaf would be proud.

I wasn't dissing abstract. Just dissing rappers who think being abstract for the sake of being abstract is good.

Understandable. I feel the same way. Classing one rapper as better than another simply because they write 'out-of-the-box' material (or, in most cases, attempt to) is a ridiculous thought process. But, by the same token, dismissing art for 'pretensious abstract babble' is just as ridiculous.

LMAO @ insider trying so hard to impress. That post took you what? an hour? Way too devoted to this shit. Either that, or you're sensitive.

Block wrote:Now you're digging through my old posts because I completely shut you down in this thread.

insider's post was sparked by this post:

Block wrote:You've gone far beyond simply lacking pancake mix. You're in an entirely different realm of fucktarded. If fucktard were a nation, you'd be the sovereign ruler.

I already predicted the lengthy posts as rebuttals to my excellence.

Block wrote:Satire, this is a prime example of my professional trolling abilities. One sentence of mine sparks a paragraph from those whom I post toward. = winning. Thank you for being the predictable, test-tube reject that you are, trigger. Your mother should have taken you as a facial.

Anyhow, I appreciate the time and effort you put in to looking up my posts and making your post as neat and grammatically correct as possible..

But..

Try harder.

Oh, and there's a plethora of artists who are online every day. That's a terrible argument.

After that Hawaii session, he focused on putting the "feel" back into his music and his flow fell apart.

Nothing wrong with his flow here.
