Which songs are you talking about where he tried to recapture his crazy shit?

All the stuff like "Insane" and "Buffalo Bill" , back when he did the SSLP it just seemed more natural, "97 Bonnie & Clyde" and "My Fault" was fucked up but it seemed like his heart was in it, now when he tries to "Shock" people, it seems forced to me.......

That aint slim shady thats his serial killer style he developed during the relapse era, the closest he came to slim shady since his return was the tim westwood 2010 freestyle & bet 2009 freestyle.

I don't think so. Besides, what else is he supposed to rap about?

rap about the world, and where he fits into it...rap about his current family life, his ex wifes financial status, his take on the future, his take on other music ... i dont know why people have to act like he has nothing to talk about besides what he has in the past and serial killer shit .... there is so much going on that if he cant write about something interesting, he just doesnt have it anymore

I kinda agree with OP. Eminem's love songs should be like Love You More, or Drug Ballad (this is my lovee song, it goes like this ♪). Not like LTWYL and Spacebound (well, both of those could've been way better with different hooks and a little darker beats, but yeah, you catch my drift). :coffee:

Amadeo wrote:^ But Drug Ballad isn't even a "love" song. It's an anti-love song. It's about how young people take ecstasy and they think they're in love with people (I think I'm in love wit' you) but it's just drug-induced artificial love.

It's more a parody of a love ballad, and it's a ballad to drugs, not women.

Yeah, I know that. What I meant is that if he's going to write something about love at all, it should be more like that instead of what he's doing now. If you get what I saying.
