Going Through Changes is so much better than 3 AM. That says a lot because I love 3 AM.

Both albums had enough Shady to make them a great album and enough shitty songs to keep them from being a classic.

Eh, I'd argue that Space Bound is a better overall song than Underground. At least for the fact that SB actually has a direction and Underground is just kinda...random lol

And Going Through Changes is also better than 3AM to me

I personally can't stand Spacebound, i'm more of a Shady fan than any of his touchy feely love shit. Underground on the other hand was one of the songs that made me a Eminem fan in the first place.

Tbh, I actually couldn't either. It was the one song, at first, that I didn't ever wanna listen to again. But I listened to it fully and now I like it

I wish we'd get the original Relapse 2, but Recovery isn't really as bad as people make it out to be...really...

I'm glad we got Recovery, but getting Relapse 2 would have been the shit. He should have just released that instead of Refill, then dropped Recovery in 2010

This.

If it wasn't for Beautiful and Crack a Bottle, Relapse would be better than Recovery, quite easily.

At the moment... it's about even. Probably give the edge to Recovery. He just tried to do so much more with that album, with the metaphorical songs etc.

Take out We Made You and the comparison would be even closer.

I've listened to it atleast 15 times and it's still my most hated on Recovery and in my top 10 worst Eminem songs alongside Searchin, Pistol Poppin', Touchdown, Remember Me(features only, Eminems verse was fire), My 1st Single and other musical disasters.
Music Box is fucking DOPE, at first listen I thought it was some kind of wanna be Mockingbird then on later listen I was fucking blown away by how dope it is.

That's agreed, Music Box is a piece of art. A true evolution of his music. The imagery is insane, and his style is even better. The third verse is :worship: ,reminds me of TES a little bit

Recovery is dope, the problem is that with Relapse we all expected something else and the majority of fans felt some what let down. Now I look around and everyone seems to say they like Relapse etc. With Recovery i once again built up a MMLP/TES level of expectation andd i somewhat felt disappointed on first listen but after a few listens i enjoyed the album. If i recall 95% of the forum was jizzing uncontrollably over Recovery for 2 weeks.

Relapse was a hit and miss album, one track i would love the next i would skip because i couldn't stand them that is how it was for me(Refill made up for that). Recovery had tracks i would skip mostly because i was not in the mood to listen to them but i still enjoyed the tracks. I think from Recovery there were only 2 or 3 poor tracks. The production on Recovery was a personal let down for me, he had some excellent punchlines but they were canceled out by some poor ones. Something was missing in Recovery which stops me from going into Stan Mode over it :'( :'(

This

You all know this is true. I didn't post a whole lot back then (posted sometimes) but I still visited almost daily and saw everyone saying it was a classic. Now, people are starting to write it off as trash :shakehead:

I still like Recovery, when I first heard NA I was like "WTF is this bullshit" but that's because I was expecting some crazy shady shit like Despicable. The next day I listened to it while high and fucking loved it and bumped NA for a week till it got popular as fuck and overplayed. When Recovery first leaked I liked every song besides SB & LTYL which I deleted after a few days. They were the only 2 songs I hated on Recovery and ironically enough LTYL becomes a huge single and SB is popular with all the bitches.
Now aint that some fucking shit.

Are you a fan of HipHop or just Eminem? i only ask because Remember Me is an exellent song BECAUSE of the features. Grouping it with My First Single? Touchdown? calling it a "musical disaster"? Harsh words for one of the best songs in his catalogue IMO.
