a lot of recovery sounded pretty raw despite people calling it soft
CWB, WBD, On Fire, Not Afraid, No Love, Cinderella Man, 25 To Life, Almost Famous

Not Afraid & 25 To Life weren't raw, the others were though. I mean he needs to release a dope single again that shows him funny or angry instead of being all soft & shit.

I know this is a stupid thing to say, but if you ignore the lyrics, 25 to Life isn't a whole lot different to Love the Way You Lie.

Yes, yes, I know lyrics are the whole point of the songs, but people listening to the radio might not pay attention to the lyrics tbh. Both songs have got nice, passionate female hooks, both could be love songs (again, a mistake made by people who don't listen to the lyrics properly), both have guitar-led beats, both with a few synths added in (although in LTWYL they only come in in the hook, whilst in 25 to Life they're in the verses too).

Come on, you really think there is someone out there at this point, who didn't hear anything about Recovery? Em is everywhere, so it's nearly impossible. At least they are going on Youtube, before buying the album. Image And Cold Wind Blows is fortunately an exception on Recovery, even if it's not that bad.

Yeah, I actually think there are plenty of people...a lot of heard it, but you gotta think that not everyone is a rap fan...

This

Eminem is in a fortunate position, because as someone as popular and famous as him, he could release ANY type of music he wanted, some proper hardcore straight spitting, no hook music (like Run Rabbit Run) and because of his huge loyal fanbase, it would still get attention because the name 'Eminem' is attached to it.

And it would still make enough money for Interscope.

100% positive those people don't buy the album.

If someone think Em has gone soft, i suggest them to take a look at 3 A.M vid. It's not what i would call a love song.

For sure. But look at Relapse. After some weeks it was absolutely outty. Maybe he could release some EP from time to time.

I can't understand why I'm seeing so much hate on Like Toy Soldiers & Mockingbird - this songs are serious, the lyrics are dope, this songs are real, Mockingbird is sweet song about his daughter just like Hailie's song & Bonny & Clide'97... LIke Toy Soldier's video idea came true when Proof got shooted... Fuck, I love all Eminem stuff, I can't criticize his previous or current work - he's talking about real life, he's honest as hell, he's talking about things I can relate with my own life.

Holy shit this post is so full of fail    I'm gonna humor myself & kill this nonsense
First of all serious does not automatically equal good. The lyrics are not "dope" they're fucking mediocre, he displays no rhyming skill in them compared to his previous work. "this songs are real" ?
97 Bonnie & Clyde or as you call it "Bonny & Clide'97" was not a sweet song about his daughter you fucking idiot it was about him killing his wife & explaining to his baby how he did it in baby talk (yes he did say he loves her in it but it's mainly about killing his wife, or I suppose you'll say Kim is about him killing his wife too because at the beginning he tells Hailie he loves her)
So what if "the video idea came true when Proof got shooted"? that doesn't make the song any less shitty that just makes the video prophetic.
" Fuck, I love all Eminem stuff, I can't criticize his previous or current work" spoken like a true Stan, let's not criticize horrible music just because it's made by a guy who once made good music, or maybe you're just too fucking stupid to realize just how bad his newer shit is.
" he's talking about real life, he's honest as hell, he's talking about things I can relate with my own life." He's rapping about shit you can relate to huh? the only songs of his you can relate to are My 1st Single, Big Weenie, Fack, Weewee & Ballin Uncontrollably seeing as how he's rapping like a fucking moron on those songs & you just happen to be a fucking moron yourself.
I'm glad to see you only have 2 posts here, keep it that way & don't EVER post another of your retarded opinions again.

Also look at the hook? how about you listen to the fucking verses? If we're looking at the hooks of songs only than I guess Cleaning Out My Closet is a song about him apologizing to his mom for having a messy closet.
