They're all sick, but Take From Me really stood out, followed by Reunion.

But W2H and Above the Law really ties it

I don't understand the hype for Above The Law. Beat is pretty good, chorus is good too and the lyrics are decent but Eminem's voice is extremely irritating on this one, Royce kills him on that track. I don't see how this is in the best songs of the album for so many :unsure:

The second half of Em's & Royce's verses make you feel like you could punch through walls.

You probably pay too much attention to the constant bitching of his voice on this site. Listen to it with a clear conscious & fresh ears.

Above the Law and Take from Me are my favs. There's so much passion spit on them. People seem to think Em screamin is annoying, to me I can just picture him spittin his heart in the mic. Reminds me of when he performed INAD live. And the beats and hooks really hit home for me.

Don't wanna vote right now, I'm not sure. But I'm positively surprised Above The Law received the most votes. I can say it's probably at least the best track of the new ones.

Crooked I had the best verse on the whole album, followed by Joel Ortiz... Em & Royce should be ashamed lmao.

but man, other than that, this album was surprisingly great. Very reminiscent of MMLP Eminem and old Royce... great great job on all tracks... 'Lighters" though could've been removed. but yeah.. I loved it.
:y:

my fav track was The Reunion & A Kiss

(posted this in 'The Reunion' thread too)

'The Reunion'
Four out of my last six posts - on this forum - have been about this particular song, that should tell you how much I enjoy it. It's my favorite track, no doubt, since Recovery, and it probably rates in my Top5 since his comeback.

So... we see that Em really still has the potential of making great songs... Question is, why doesn't he make more 'The Reunion'-type of songs? Well... It seems as that either;

(i) I'm in the minority... I.e. most fans doens't like this song, and the majority like the screaming/"shot voice" Em.... (which sounds unlikely, IMO). What's more likely, is;

(ii) that Em doesn't actually know that his fans like this type of songs... I mean, look, Recovery was blessed by a great amount of people... pre-Recovery, most of the fans (us) were complaining about the lack of feeling/emotion Em put into his songs... And... he listened, we got Recovery... But, as we've witnessed since Recovery, Em has really been over-doing what he seems to interpret as motion into the songs...

We (the fans) need to reach out to Paul or Royce, let them know that 'The Reunion' is, by far, the best track on this album. Or, at least one of everyone's favourites... And tell them, what we like about this song... This might seem like bitching/complaining to some... but fact is, the nowadays Em, listen to what his fans got to say, and he want to deliver the absolute best he can...

If Em were to make 10-15 songs with this voice/flow/rhyming/wit/non-screaming/non-shot voice... It'd be a classic to a lot of people...

That's me rambling... Any thoughts?

Im still soaking it in, so far after the first listen, 9/10 for the whole EP for me. But i know i'll change my mind after a couple of more listens, 10/10 it will change to. All the songs have an amazing beat along with strong lyrics, the consistency of this EP is unmatched.

I just feel exactly the same. It's his best post-Recovery song by far, I doubt that he knows this himself.

All he seems to do is spit meaningless 3-syllable multis in quick succession. The good rappers can do that shit in their sleep. And he was rhyming "ominous" over and over again. I can write nonsense 3-syllable multis, too:

An anonymous autonomous economist asserts his dominance and prominence, lyrical communist bombing this hippopotamus into an ominous bottomless acropolis, apocalypse with rocket ships and composite chocolate chips, droppin' shit in opposites

Maybe he should try actually saying something and get a personality.

That being said, he probably had the best verse on the song. LOL. Eminem was shit.

He mad.

i dont agree with the first statement,not even close to the best verse on the album.

Em on lighters and Welcome 2 hell and above the law is miles ahead of crooked lyrically.
