By not building the stages & the tents like shit, seeing what already happened in the states?

yes ,this is true. Maybe they can't predict a natural disaster, but they can take precautions.things like this have happened too many times already.

I can understand the frustration of the people who was going to be there.Of course the drama is the people who have died...But yes it sucks when you finally are going to go to see Eminem...this happens.I hope you will have your money back at least.

They knew the storm was coming?
But didn't know it was gonna be so bad, so they didn't tell people?
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

How are you? How was it there?

I'm okay but it's just :( ...I hadn't arrived yet when the storm hit. I heard about the storm on the train on my way to the fest. We just thought it rained a little bit. But suddenly the train had to stop because the electricity didn't work anymore in Hasselt. (Because of the storm) So we had to take the bus to Kiewit. We're standing there, waiting for the bus and all of the sudden there are tons of busses full of people who wanted to go home. None of us really knew how bad the situation was. We stood there for 2 hours, waiting for a bus, cause I still wanted to go. Everywhere I looked there were cops, ambulances, all those people who wanted to go home, everyone was confused and didn't know what to do, our phones wouldnt work.. it was just crazy.

So we asked the cops if the festival was still on and they said it wasn't. We were ready to take the train back home but we missed the last train. It takes us 4/5 hours to get home from Hasselt so we had no place to sleep. But then I looked on the internet and saw the fest was still on. So we still went, but we saw all those people going back home. And on the bus we were told about the trees falling, the tents collapsing, the havoc, the chaos.

And then the site, the tents where the artists were supposed to perform that got hit by the storm were totally devistated. Ambulances, cops, never saw so many of them in my whole life. There was mud everywhere, there was mud up to our knees. My feet are burned cause of the mud. A lot of tents on the camping site were blown away, people had to sit in their tent to prevent it from being blown away. The hail just went trough some of the tents, water flooding into tents, a lot of tents were left behind, chairs were left behind, food, people just ran away as fast as they could. One word: CHAOS .. But we set up our tent on a pretty dry place, and we woke up this at 5:30 am and some dude told us it was cancelled. Because there were 6 people who lost their lifes and many people severly wounded. I also heard there are people who lost an arm, people who lost a leg.. but i don't really know if it's true.So they told everybody to go home. And I just got home a 2 houres ago.

Hope this makes any sense.

^ Yeah it was really awful, I posted a video, it's on page 2 I think.. If you haven't seen it, check it. It wasn't the biggest storm ever but it was big enough to collapse the tents (who should've been stronger though..) and it's sad that people died there :(

In one week, the same thing happened twice. Indiana and then Pukkelpop..

and 5 people died officially and i think 5 others are between life and death.

Man I know this all sucks and it's disappointing for US, but think of the people that were caught up in the accident.

Yeah ofcourse! It's very sad that people lost their child who was so happy when their parents last saw them :'(
But it's also sad for people who bought the ticket, was so happy and full of hopes, and then this happend :(

But hopefully, you'll get to see Em later in your life :flower:
