Lol. honestly, EM was given a vague topic in all of those songs, and he could have basically taken his lyrics in any direction he wanted. He just chose to write about hoes and fast food. And the thing is, you can make an awesome song about hoes and fast food. It's not about the subject matter, it's about the execution. The only reason the subject matter is getting whack is because its fucking predictable. Em feature, oh I bet he mentions a eating a Mcnugget.

Menzo wrote:Actually, the "he didn't choose the topics for the songs" argument is plausible - just because it's legitimate reasoning pertaining to his subject matter and a reasonable point, people want to disregard.

So...what's your rebuttal to that? "Em chose that direction" well fuck, it's LITERALLY a pointless song.

Notice the last two songs that called for an actual concept (Where I'm At/Take From Me) he doesn't mention something as retarded as fast food? That's evidence enough, given the proper concept - his subject matter will follow.

In fact...he didn't mention fast food once on Hell: The Sequel - his most recent project  Did he mention hoes? Yes of course, but it's motherfuckin' Bad meets Evil.

#TeamMenzo

but tbh I prefer fast food >>> shit lines
I really hate those.

But sadly there's a lack of depth and wittiness in his lyrics that he used to have in his old days. Even on tracks he was just spitting barzz.

Why would I compare Recovery to Section.80? That would just make Kenny take the cake lol.

I know I said I wasn't going to reply, but I am anyways, so shut up.

I honestly forgot about the Bad Meets Evil project. I don't listen to it ever and I completely forgot about it. However, you act as if the whole Bad Meets Evil duo was built on dissing women. Well, listen to their original track. It wasn't. That shows how much his content has evolved towards that subject. A Kiss, The Reunion, and multiple verses sprinkled throughout were solely about "hoes".

I'm not going to argue with Eminem diehards, because it's really pointless if they can defend his recent works and call Kendrick Lamar's brilliant, controversial, and social commentary tracks wack.

Because then the argument wouldn't be in Kendrick's favour.

- Yeah, the "shit punches" are shit punches. Didn't 'ruin' "Take From Me" but is definitely it's only flaw.

You're right, the concept of Bad Meets Evil wasn't solely based on the bashing of women...but it was evident in almost every song the two of them had, plus it was more than a decade ago. Shit shifts.

Who is calling Kendrick wack? Seriously, you sound like a fuckin idiot because someone didn't like Kendrick "best song" or finds Kendrick boring (which on the first listen, he REALLY fuckin is) - absolutely pathetic.

- Good argument Cube, your resilience remains unmatched.

Saying a song notoriously known as one of the guy's greatest tracks "sucks" doesn't qualify for criticism or for me to define it as describing him as "wack"? That'd be like someone saying Lose Yourself sucks.

Keep bringing the personal insults, though. That really makes you look like the smarter individual.

You all should thank me for throwing a monkey in the wrench around here, to be quite honest.

Cube you're arguing with close-minded individuals. There's really no point to argue against them because in the end, when Em gets outshone, they will still believe he had the better verse(s).
